They're still a little big, but for someone like me with wider feet, having a toe box that doesn't smush my feet is a fantastic thing. I live in Wyoming, where it's often below freezing with high winds, and these are some of the warmest boots. I love the faux fur, it gives some nice cushion. I got an 8.5 due to reviews and comments saying they run big (I mostly wear a 9 in boots and sneakers) about a year ago. They run huge. My feet are swimming in them, they feel like a size 10. The soles and boots are very flexible, yay. Kept them as there was no size close at the time, but I have to use insoles and wear 2 socks and there's still plenty of room. Having said that, they are comfortable and sturdy. I've worn them walking in the forest and walking my dog a lot and they still look good. After reading the reviews on these boots, I decided to take a chance and order. The boots arrived in a timely manner, are stylish and comfortable. As stated before in the previous reviews, they run a tad large. I ordered 1/2 size down and they fit perfectly even with heavier socks. The toe box allows allows for toes wiggle room. The zipper is a bit light, but I can get the boots on without using the zipper, so that should not be a problem. They have a nice tread on the sole and the soft lining keeps my feet nice and warm. For the price, they are a great buy. I am hoping they wear well. Time will tell. So far, I am happy with my purchase. ... show more

Size DOWN! They run extremely big!! I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 depending on style and brand. I also have very thin narrow feet and small ankles and calves. I bought size 8 considering they are boots, so I could wear thick socks comfortably! They fit like a size 10 on me!! No amount of socks would have helped. Other than the sizing issue, I LOVE them! Way cute and can be worn with several clothing styles! I would have exchanged mine for a smaller size if they had been available at the time! ... show more

I bought these for my granddaughter for Christmas and I was afraid honestly because of the price, but my granddaughter is very tough on shoes and her feet are growing faster than the rest of her, so we do not buy her very expensive foot wear. We do need them to be made well enough to last her the full school year. When they arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised. Much better quality than expected. They had a very soft faux fur inside, the buckles and straps seem well made, the man made material looks very much like leather and they were so cut on her feet. They looked like a dressier combat boot. She loved how they fit, she like how they felt when she walked in them and she actually like the way they look so much she was wiping them off and putting them away at the end of the day. ... show more
