Easy install. Best bang for your buck. I wish they came with 11 gram or any other lower gram rollers. You will need to purchase rollers if you want the best performance.

Okay, here’s the thick of it. My only concern for this variator was to get better throttle response from a dead start. I think a lot of people have concerns about roller weights without having a clear understanding of what they’re trying to accomplish. However I trust that the manufacturer knew exactly how this variator would perform for my GY6 150cc motor. My bike is quicker off the line. I went from a 16 gram roller to 13 gram. Time will tell how the variator holds up but my initial experience is excellent using this variator as a performance replacement for a 161cc 1qmk gy6 fuel injected UTV engine found in a trailmaster 200EX. I also used the secondary clutch sold by the same company with the 2000 RPM lockup spring and a new gates power link belt. Whole package off Amazon cost just around $90 for these three parts and made my trailmaster a different vehicle altogether.     • Can Do 60 MPH At 7000 RPM Now With Stock Was Only Getting 52 MPH
This 115 mm variator it's multi-purpose and more significant than the stock variator can be used on a 150 cc to 232 to utilize the size of this variator you're going to have to use an 842 belt. I don't have the power to drive an 842 belt so I'm still using a 743 20-30 and it works well with a top speed of 58 MPH with room for upgrades, in the future, The 13G rollers work fine for acceleration and top speed they are right in the middle I have tested 15 g sliders and there ok but the bottom end is little on the slow side 9G and your pushing 8000 RPM its good buy better than stock!!! ... show more
