The original whisky glass taken to a whole new level by Crystal Imagery. fter winning the 2006 Queen's Award for Innovation, the Glencairn scotch whisky glass has earned its title as the "official whisky glass" by the experts. Glencairn offers scotch whisky connoisseurs a special glass to appreciate all of the whisky's fine nuances. Comfortable in the hand, it has a full bowl that tapers at the mouth to enhance color, body, aroma, taste, and finish. The Glencairn glass 2.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall and holds up to 6.5 ounces.

Production Method: Crystal Imagery uses a method of engraving called Sandcarving. Instead of scratching or frosting the surface, we carve deep into the product leaving the image appearing raised and 3D. The effect is permanent and can never be washed away. If I could give 10 stars I would, unbelievable quality, super fast shipping, personalized and packaged very well! They will even do two initials. I had his gamer tag for Red Dead Redemption 2 put on them, because he’s always drinking at the bar when he plays, and it’s a two part name. They did a beautiful job of fitting it on the glass. I ordered 4 and did 2 for me and 2 for my brother. One review says you can’t customize the second (or more) glass but you totally can. Where you write what you want on the glass be sure to include 1.) information 2.) information 3.) information 4.) information and they will do each one accordingly. My husband requested these for his birthday because he’s a big whiskey guy. I had previously gotten the lowball glasses as a Christmas gift and he loved those so I came back to get these. The turn around time stated on the order page was something like a couple of weeks, but I got the notification that these had shipped a couple of days later, if not the next day. I suppose that would be because the template for them already existed. Anyhow my husband loves them, but unfortunately I was washing them in the dishwasher and they both cracked. I’m planning to surprise him with a new set for this year’s Christmas though because these glasses are gorgeous and always come in a timely manner. ... show more

Nicely done, but no gift box. This surprised Me. They are nicely done, but do I give them as a gift in the cardboard box they came in, with packing peanuts and packing paper? No, I will have to go buy a nicer box. That's why 4 Stars.

AMAZING!! I am so immensely impressed with this company. I was doubtful I was even going to receive them in time for Father’s Day because 1, they’re customized so that typically takes a little longer and 2, they were being shipped from CA to PA. It said I would receive them on Friday and I got them early on that Wednesday, 4 days after the order was placed.
