I'm sorry I had to give this five stars. I have watched review after review of Glarry guitars on YouTube and I got to say it's about 50/50. You have gear snobs and you have people who are appreciative and know how to set up a guitar themselves. Like the ad says if you're buying this for a beginner guitar player and you don't know how to set up a guitar properly you probably should pay to have it set up because the smoother the experience the more you're going to be willing to learn and more interested in playing. The guitar came pretty well set up all I had to do was a slight truss rod adjustment and fixed one of the bridge farrells was too high on the bottom side and out of place. After that it tuned up and played well and stayed in tune. There was absolutely zero fret sprout, the tuners are sealed, and they do stay in tune however the frets do need polishing and the back of the neck may need some real fine sanding with some 600 grit but this guitar is great all the knobs are tight the pickups are set up well the five-way switch is tight the jack is tight everything's good on it y'all. I bought this guitar because it is a modded strat basically you got push pull tone knob and a PAF humbucker which is exactly what I was shopping for and Glarry had a beautiful version in sunburst and I picked it up for $99. It came with a few accessories, gig bag, strap, cable, picks, whammy bar, & wrenches. The practice amp is good enough for what it is and works very well. Most people who buy this guitar are older folks looking to buy a guitar that they can mod. Well thanks to Glarrry, they've done it for you and it's all wrapped up in a $99 kit. 💥Grab One!💥

No reason to hate it! Great price, sturdy, good size, sounds and tunes amazingly. Got this for my daughter, it makes a great beginner guitar. Her instructor said it was a really good purchase for starting out. The amp sounds is good quality and has a place to plug in headphones. Couldn’t be happier. Do suggest buying a sturdier separate case however, the one it comes with is a snug fit and difficult to work with. Doesn’t take away the overall quality for the price.

This is a budget instrument with a notorious reputation of being unplayable out of the box without setup, so my expectations weren’t high. True to form, intonation is laughably bad and the action is high with cheap strings, bridge and tuning machines that needed to be replaced to make it playable. Also, the frets required some light filing and polish. It’s a great-looking, light and sturdy budget guitar, plus the inclusion of a 20W amp with reasonably good sound is half the total value. There’s better hardware at a (slightly) higher price for those who don’t like to tinker, but this is a good platform to learn basic play and setup fundamentals, which are both beneficial for aspiring guitarists like me.
