I'm sorry I had to give this five stars. I have watched review after review of Glarry guitars on YouTube and I got to say it's about 50/50. You have gear snobs and you have people who are appreciative and know how to set up a guitar themselves. Like the ad says if you're buying this for a beginner guitar player and you don't know how to set up a guitar properly you probably should pay to have it set up because the smoother the experience the more you're going to be willing to learn and more interested in playing. The guitar came pretty well set up all I had to do was a slight truss rod adjustment and fixed one of the bridge farrells was too high on the bottom side and out of place. After that it tuned up and played well and stayed in tune. There was absolutely zero fret sprout, the tuners are sealed, and they do stay in tune however the frets do need polishing and the back of the neck may need some real fine sanding with some 600 grit but this guitar is great all the knobs are tight the pickups are set up well the five-way switch is tight the jack is tight everything's good on it y'all. I bought this guitar because it is a modded strat basically you got push pull tone knob and a PAF humbucker which is exactly what I was shopping for and Glarry had a beautiful version in sunburst and I picked it up for $99. It came with a few accessories, gig bag, strap, cable, picks, whammy bar, & wrenches. The practice amp is good enough for what it is and works very well. Most people who buy this guitar are older folks looking to buy a guitar that they can mod. Incredible quality for the money. I checked it over. It’s good to go out of the box, except for tuning. It’s shipped with slack strings. Only two issues. The packaging is flimsy. The amp started tearing the internal styrofoam apart inside. The bag is very light. Just a dust cover, no padding.

No reason to hate it! Great price, sturdy, good size, sounds and tunes amazingly. Got this for my daughter, it makes a great beginner guitar. Her instructor said it was a really good purchase for starting out. The amp sounds is good quality and has a place to plug in headphones. Couldn’t be happier. Do suggest buying a sturdier separate case however, the one it comes with is a snug fit and difficult to work with. Doesn’t take away the overall quality for the price. ... show more

my thought on this bundle, recently I started my guitar journey with "Fenders Squire Stratocaster" bundle costing around 250$ and one thing I have to point out is the personally I don't like jumbo frets on fenders fingerboard and this GLARRY Stratocaster is perfect not only for the price but the unique design with the humbucker pickup and 2 single coils as it described giving us more and creative tones and as an Eddie van Halen fan the coil split function with the knob was a no brainer had to buy this. overall, this guitar is perfect for guitarist hobby i bought this guitar for the infamous body & pickup configuration will customize this now can't wait thank you "GLARRY" ... show more

14yr old Son suddenly decided he wanted to play the electric guitar and without telling us he bought this amp and guitar with some of his Christmas money. While I wouldn’t recommend it as a quality purchase for an experienced player, it was sufficient for a novice to begin with and see if he was interested in pursuing the guitar. The amp was distorted and pretty bad but again for $100 he got an electric guitar, amp, and bag. The tuning didn’t hold for more than a day at a time, but it had a normal Stratocaster body, look, size and weight. The strap wouldn’t stay on and the strings weren’t very durable. My son found he has a bit of natural ability and since he was playing daily and loved playing we invested in a nice Jackson King V JS32 and a Fender Mustang Lt25 Amp. Which was a lot more expensive and in a class of its own. We passed this guitar and amp on to another friends son who wanted to see if he was interested in playing before making a better purchase like we did. ... show more

Arrived ahead of schedule, at first I thought the finish was flawed but there is a this plastic wrap over the front to protect during shipping. I can't imagine that anyone could make a better begginers guitar start up package. Good quality, everything works as it should. Great value for your money.
