Style: Wall cabinet
Beautiful quality and functionality. Surprised a how nice a product this is...looks like something out of a high-end boutique garage shop for luxury cars. Fit and finish (tolerances) are perfect. However, I will say -- PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION DURING ASSEMBLY. The reason the fit and finish is so great is because they have a TON of small tabs everywhere that lock into slots to secure the box. Miss just one of these (which is easy to do if you're not paying attention) and something won't line up and you'll get a bow somewhere. It also was the cause of why my doors didn't initially line up. This happened several times on the side panels for me, as the tolerances are so good that it's actually quite easy to get some in properly at the bottom while also inadvertently dislodges others. To be clear, this is NOT a criticism of the product, rather it's an artifact of how well the product is designed. This is why it's like a rock when finally assembled. Anyway, it took me twice as long to assemble as it should have because I just didn't pay enough attention to the details when I put it together, and ended up taking panels off and correcting alignment a few times. Lesson learned! :-) I am buying a few more because I'm so happy with it.

I am really impressed by this line of products. The assembly is very quick and easy, if you have a hex head set for your power drill you can crank this out in 15-20 minutes. My first one took 30, the next two took about 10-15. They are very sturdy and well built. The doors aren't absurdly shiny, they're more of a satin finish which is perfect for me as they more closely match the stainless steel fridge in my garage. If you use the track system, getting them on the wall is a breeze too. I had the tracks on and these hung up in less than an hour. No need to level each one, just make sure the tracks are aligned. I'm very happy with these.

After reading some bad reviews, I was somewhat hesitant to order. I received the order last nite via UPS and I assembled them today. I have had issues before with UPS shipping through Commerce City, but these were packaged well enough and did not incur significant damage. For the money I paid, they are excellent storage cabinets. I had one corner with a minor bend on a flange, no problem. They went together easily with no plugged or stripped fastener holes. Both boxes squared up fine so that the doors hang properly. They are plenty tough enough for garage storage solutions. I think I'll be buying two more!

These garage cabinets are excellent. The assembly is very simple and straight forward. The thickness of the metal is certainly adequate for most applications. I ordered two of these and both arrived in perfect condition. Well-packed and absolutely no scratches or dents. Just be sure to follow the assembly directions carefully: leave all the bolts a little loose until you've assembled everything (except the doors) and then make sure the cabinet is sitting on a flat surface before tightening up the screws and bolts. Remember to "X" tighten them for best results, starting with the back panel. This will assure you that the unit ends up completely square. When you hang the doors, you can slide them up or down a bit to get them perfectly centered before tightening the four screws that hold them in place. I like that these cabinets have an open channel in the bottom of them with a plastic wire guide to allow for electric cords to pass through. So if you have a rechargeable drill, you can place it in the cabinet and run the cord through the cabinet bottom to an outlet. The only gripes I have are: 1) No way to lock the doors. 2) They supply one rear mounting bracket in case you want to purchase the optional wall track hanging system. But you really need two of these brackets (one for the top and one for the bottom) or the cabinet will hang slanted on the wall. They really should have included two brackets instead of just one. But you can easily hang these directly on the wall without use of the brackets or wall track system. There are holes in the back for this purpose allowing you to hang them on wall studs easily. (No, they don't supply any lag bolts for this purpose; I purchased some 2" x 5/16" lag bolts and washers at Home Depot that did the trick.) Overall, these are wonderful garage storage wall cabinets. I will probably buy a couple more soon. I think they are well-worth the cost (which really isn't bad compared to other similar cabinets).

This is a great tool to help organize your garage or workshop space. My wife bought me this because she saw I kept knocking over various bottles and containers I had strewn about the garage. I'm not a slob, I just didn't have any shelving of any type- so for my birthday she bought me this thing. I wasn't completely sold on it when I first saw it because you do have to put it together before you can use it and I'm lazy so, it sat for a while. One day I was feeling particularly motivated so I put it together and then had to figure out how to get it on the wall. Gladiator GarageWorks is an entire line of shop/garage cabinets, shelves, tracks and other manner of containment/placement choices- the tracks being the backbone of it all because with them you can move these components around to suit your individual need. Imagine being able to lay out your workspace and move cabinets, shelves and wall racks in any configuration that suits you- and being able to change said configuration with little fuss (as compared to a permanently wall mounted cabinet or shelf) on a whim? That's awesome! Naturally, this sort of thing is really geared toward people who spend a decent amount of time in the shop or the garage (or both) - if you're just a casual observer type then you'd get this for the look moreso than for actual use. Did I mention they're really sturdy and have a clean and neat industrial look? I plan on expanding in the future.
