I love these units. BUT... the cost has doubled during the last 4 years. I've bought 8 over the years. The cost has literally doubled. I've checked Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe's. I will start with the packaging. It was beaten up and was being held together with multiple layers of tape. Upon opening I find the metal legs bent and have to find a way to bend them back so the shelf will stand straight. Three of the five shelves are chipped on the corners, one with a crack that runs for about three inches. This is a shoddily produced product that was poorly packed for shipping and arrived damaged. The only reason I did not return this is because the packaging was such a nightmare I never could have packed it back up and I did not want to haul something of this size and weight into a UPS store if I did mange to pack it up. Rates to hold 1000 pounds? Only if you are suicidal. There are much better options available at a cheaper price. Don't waste your money. ... show more

It holds what i need it to hold. Make sure that you assemble in its final location. Gravity holds it together and it’ll come apart if you lift it to move it. I used zip ties to keep the shelf brackets in place.

This is the fourth set I have bought, and I love them. I have three in my garage and one in a walk-in closet. They are easy to assemble (I did it by myself), sturdy, and large enough to hold everything I needed.

Pretty much sucks, I put it together and tried laying on h bottom one with my weight evenly, well that was a bad idea 😅. Almost broke my back, anyways it'll probably be better to buy 1 inch plywood and getting it cut to right size. I dint think it's able to hold even 500 pounds, the metal is realy good and sturdy, im Goinn to just build half of it since it's a bit scary using it fully built. Some of the metal came bent, but it was easy to bend it back, overall this rack is pretty good with some adjustments. 6/10 for me ... show more

This was exceptionally easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. I immediately ordered another! NOTE: I had to unpack the box where it was left by delivery because it was too heavy for me to move.
