  • Works so far.
Before I really get into this, I need to say that, I had practiced on just a tube, no bike or tire weight, man or man did that little thing pump up a tube. I had opened this up from the box and was checking everything out and pieces fell off of it. I thought maybe it was just something for shipping to not prevent it from damage. So I tried for a few hours to get it to clamp on and it wouldn`t clamp on and I couldn`t get it to pump at all. I thought it was junk, so it went into non- food trash can, so it didn get dirty and threw it away. It drove me nuts, so I went and dragged it out if the trash and decided to look at the picture called instructions and the piece I thought was to keep it from bouncing around was actually a the piece that clamps the pump to the stem. So when I figured everything out and that little thing just kicked some flat tube butt, but as I said before, I have not tried it on the full bike and tires, weight. I do have a 60+ lb bike. I might have a different thought after trying to pump up the tire at a later date, with 2 -15 lb. dogs and a heavy basket and all the small extras I have on my bike, which might bring it close to 70 lbs. I had bought this one, for I had an old one,but I couldn`t find the screw in stem and as this one was in the mail, I did find everything for the old bike pump, but one bad thing about the old pump, you have to screw this onto the stem and after your at your full capacity, you have to unscrew it and you end up loosing some of the air. It`s zip tied to my bike for an emergency. I`m no way regretting getting this little one, I`ll just put it in a bike satchel, I won`t need the frame attachment. I love that it is so small and it will fit anywhere. ... show more

  • best mini pump ever? super tiny and super smooth. tough alloy construction.
I don't know how this isn't at the top of every bike/review site recommendation. This thing is TINY and makes other pumps costing twice as much look fat and bloated. Action is extremely easy and smooth, also fast IMO. Fits in my EVOC fanny pack easily, what other pump would fit? Probably very few. I have a 5 year old+ Giyo shock pump that has worked flawlessly for me. But for some reason I didn't think of Giyo when I was shopping for mini pumps but glad I saw this when I was scrolling through products. Brand needs some serious work on advertising/getting their name out there/visibility. A+, 5 star product. And.. Made in Taiwan. NOT CHINA. US bike guys know Taiwan is the mecca of quality bike parts and frames, well and the leader in semiconductors in the entire world. Made in Taiwan is synonymous or better then Made in USA labels. Get this pump RIGHT NOW. Look at it next to my regular sized SKS (made in Germany) mini pump. Whaaat. By the way the SKS works okay but each stroke takes a LOT more effort to pump. ... show more

  • Compact and study pump
The GIYO Small Bike Tire Pump is so small and lightweight, you can almost carry it in your pocket. It's so easy to use, even a caveman could do it. And it pumps tires so quickly, you'll be back on the road in minutes. But don't let the small size fool you. This pump is built to last. It's made of all-metal construction, and the valve lock is so secure, it's like Fort Knox. So what's the catch? Well, for one thing, it can be difficult to pump tires to high pressure with this pump. You'll need to use some serious elbow grease. A gauge would be great as well to get the right psi. Overall, the GIYO Small Bike Tire Pump is a great choice for cyclists who are looking for a compact and lightweight and sturdy pump that is easy to use. But if you need to pump your tires to high pressure or you have a bike with a large frame, you may want to consider a different pump. Would buy again. ... show more

  • Over 500 pumps and still not inflated!
The media could not be loaded. I tried to use this to pump up my 29 inch x 2.4 inch bike tire. After 500 pumps, the pressure up to 12 PSI. So, it would take about 100 pumps to reach a pressure around 25 PSI. It's easy enough to use. The small size is wonderful. The locking mechanism works great at holding the pump onto the valve, but the capacity is so low that it would take over 1000 pumps to inflate a tire. This may work for very narrow tires, but for my tires, it's a no-go and will be returned. ... show more

  • Best mini pump in existence.
This is the best mini pump ever. I have been using mine for about two years now. I use it about three times a day. I am constantly abusing and pushing this thing to its limit. I use it constantly. This thing is durable and serviceable. You can take it apart very easily clean it, oil it, and do any maintenance. The thing will get stiff every few thousand tire inflations, that’s just from dust and small amounts of dirt buildup, simply take it apart and clean. I have broken one one time, the pump came completely open in my bag, and I fell on it. In my opinion, that is a perfectly reasonable failure. Best emergency pump ever. Only thing I will say is that the seals and pistons like to unscrew themselves and come apart. I recommend taking it apart when you get it, adding a bit of oil, and adding Loctite to all of the threads. ... show more

  • pump contacts my carbon fiber bike frame
This is a well made awesome little pump. Perfect almost. The only problem is that the mount (and my bike geometry, ibis ripmo gen 1) forces me to mount pump on bike upside down and will contact my frame. With this being a mountain bike, vibrations are a given and hence will either scratch or mess up the paint/frame. If only there was a way to mount it without contacting bike. Other than that, pump is well made, small, light weight and appears pretty durable. I didn't want to return it, but I'm trying to ride without back pack and this pump will have to go into backpack. So defeats the purpose of me buying this pump in the first place. ... show more
