Great MIP's helmet if you're on a budget

Great helmet for the price. Comfortable and easy to adjust for the perfect fit. I'm a large man with a big head. I find it hard to find bike helmets that fit but this is great. If you're riding an E-bike that goes 28+ mph, then you need to purchase a MIP's helmet. There are nicer ones on the market with lights and far better clasps but for the price thus is perfect. I already purchased this in White for my teenage son ad well. If I was to be knit-picky though. I wish the visor came down a little lower to help block the afternoon sun. I find I have to tilt the helmet down low on my forehead before I can even see the visor let alone block the sun. Small gripe and certainly not a deal breaker.

Quality helmet - recommend!
Very happy with my Giro helmet. It looks great, it's easy to adjust the sizing, the white color is very visible and doesn't attract the heat, and it will do an excellent job protecting my head if I should take a spill on my bike. Great quality!

Great helmet and comfortable fit

This helmet is very comfortable for long wears, and adjusts to both mine and my husband's larger head. The bright red color helps with good visibility on the road. I don't really see how the visor helps with any shading of the sun, but is detachable if you don't like it. I recommend this helmet.

Fits nice, I expected the color to be brighter than it is. Appearance - As it looks, it is less visible that the Goro Register I replaced. Adjustability - great, fits snug. Weight is very light .

Very comfortable! Better than higher priced helmets!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I tried four different helmets; Smith, Giro, Trek and Bontrager brands. All of them cost more than $100. None were more comfortable than this Giro Register MIPS and this was the cheapest one! It also looked the best on me; not dorky. It felt the lightest on my head and it has just the right amount of vent holes. It has good head coverage and the visor is not intrusive. I wore it with and without my skull cap and both comfortable. Wore it for biking in hot humid conditions along with my sweat wicking skull cap and it felt great! I barely felt I had a helmet on. The straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. Changing the size is easy by turning the knob at back of helmet. This helmet will not fit an extra large head though unfortunately as I had hubby try it on at its largest setting and it was too small. This helmet is a great deal for the quality and the Giro brand.

Stylish design at the price point for recreational riders and the removable visor keeps the glare down. I annually ride 2K miles a year and I do not need the added protection of a racer’s helmet at my speed. Neon yellow makes me more visible when riding on country roads and city streets. Comfortable and fits great using the dial adjustment. Easy to clean the liner with soap and water and dries fast. Only complaint is I wish the chin strap was more adjustable around my ears.
