  • Run a little small
Color: Black (2022) Size: Large
These gloves are fairly comfortable. I'm usually between a medium and large. The medium size was definitely too small, the large is a snug fit. They fit tight to the skin which is what you want for long rides. i.e. you don't want any movement of the glove across your skin which can cause blisters. I did a 66 mile ride yesterday and no chafing at all. ... show more

  • Interesting gloves
Color: Black (2022) Size: X-Large
I have always used Giro gloves, and have always been happy with them. These are a little odd though. The are comfortable to wear. But, when uses in the hot Georgia summer and get wet with sweat, they bleed color that stains your hands. The color bleeds onto your skin, and it takes lots of scrubbing with a pumice based soap to remove the dye. I’ve never experienced that before. I’ve washed them multiple times, and yet still get black hands after any sweaty use. ... show more

  • Very nice riding gloves
Color: Midnight/Iceberg (2021) Size: Medium
These gloves fit well and do the job. They provide good padding for my hands over long rides, and keep them cool. They are difficult to remove if the hands get moist.

  • Snugger fit and different Velcro than G1 version.
Color: Midnight/Iceberg (2021) Size: Large
These 2nd generation gloves use a different type of Velcro which hopefully will last longer than what was used in the G1 version. The Velcro was not holding any longer on my old pair and that was the only functional issue with them. The sizing runs a bit smaller now but, not enough to change which size I needed in my case. If the G1 glove was snug for you already, maybe best to go up one size. I like the classy Iceberg color option. ... show more

  • Way too small
I measured my hands and everything. Read the reviews and bought XL just to be safe. I’m not a big dude, I do have pretty chunky hands though. I’m sure I would have appreciated what seems to be durable padding but five minutes into a 32 mile ride my hands were already killing just from fighting the tension of these extremely snug gloves. And the desperation and emotional crisis to get these gloves off when you get home realizing you are out if shape for a 32 mile ride. Rough. ... show more

  • My absolute favorite fingerless cycling gloves.

  • Excellent but for fading
I now own 3 pairs of these gloves, which run small, but I ike many things about them,. They protect the tops of my hands from the sun, fasten on top, and wash well. I wash them after almost every ride, yet they still hold up after 2 yrs. It might help to have multiple pairs and rotate them. I dry them with the thumbs stretched over the ends of my aerobars, which leaves them dry and well formed. I'm actually surprised how well the leather stands up to washing. Maybe that's the secret to longevity. Maybe salt and dirt kill the leather. I am reporting my experience. Now for what I don't like. I don't like that the cloth on top seems to fade really quickly, like a couple of months up here at 3,000ft of altitude. This is less so for the red, but the highlight yellow is really faded, AND, the black dye keeps bleeding all over the yellow, making it very dingy. I use Cinelli Gel tape, which is pretty soft, and ride in aerobars about 40% of the time, though those have skate-tape (basically sandpaper) on the ends for grip so not sure how much that's helping. Whatever it is, my experience seems to be much better than others here. Now if I could just get Blue in a medium again...... NOTE TO MFG: Bright colors like Highlight Yellow need to be paired with white leather, NOT, NOT, NOT black, because the black dye quickly smudges the yellow cloth, ruining the utility of having a Day-Glo color. I'd even settle for the Midnight and black leather if there was a Day-Glo Yellow stripe 1/2" wide running across the top of the hand. Motorists respond INSTANTLY to hand signals in brightly colored gloves. Color is therefore VERY, VERY important. ... show more

  • Fit nicely, excellent padding, great gloves
Color: Black (2022) Size: Large
Before buying these gloves, I was a bit worried about the sizing. Other reviewers said that these gloves tended to fit too small, despite following Giro's sizing guide. I measured my hands a few times and Giro's guide said that I should use large gloves. So, I took a chance with large, and they fit perfectly. They are a bit tight to get on, but not enough that it's inconvenient. The resulting fit was snug without being restrictive or tight. As for the ink bleeding through, I haven't had any issues with this. My hands get drenched with sweat on my longer rides, and after I take my gloves off there is no ink staining my hands. The only stuff on my hands tends to be a few pieces of the inside that may've rubbed off from the leather. The gloves are a bit of a struggle to get off, but I don't think it's difficult enough to warrant the complaints that other reviewers have mentioned. The removal slots on the fingers make it easier to take the gloves off, but I can see these slots ripping after a while. I also get a bit of hand numbness during my longer rides, so I wanted something to combat that. I haven't been having any issues with numbness or shoulder pain after buying these gloves, so they were well worth the investment. The padding is excellent and well-distributed. The gloves are nicely ventilated and I haven't experienced any issues with hot hands. These gloves are comfortable and high quality, and I think they're well worth the investment. I hope this helps some of you who may be on the fence about purchasing these gloves after having read some of the other reviews. No matter how many reviews you read, in the end you need to take a chance on a pair of gloves. I think these gloves are well worth the money and that you'll be pleased with the quality. Be sure to measure yourself properly and check what size gloves you need on Giro's site before purchasing. ... show more
