These shoes are super cute with their glittery straps, smaller heel, and the gold is a perfect light color, not too bright and obnoxious. However, those cute things are also what are not the favorite for the 10-year-old wearer. The color is still great and can be worn with a variety of dresses, but a Velcro strap would have been preferred around the ankle instead of a belt type strap. The gold strip that goes across the toes makes everything feel a bit tight, the toe box could have been a little bit wider to make it more comfortable. But maybe that's like every heeled shoe? Not really meant to be real comfortable and worn as more of a show piece.
