Our 6 year old granddaughter picked out these skates because of the colorful flower decoration. She was so disappointed when she opened the box to find plain white skates. We didn’t have time to return them as we were headed on vacation. I let her decorate them with a sharpie since she was let down.

My daughter uses these about once a week since I’ve bought them , she says they are so comfortable and she is able to skate more secure . I’ve noticed she has more balance on the ice then before . They are super cute the only disappointment I had was they didn’t come with the flower design they were all white with pink laces . ... show more

    • Good beginner skating boot - just be sure to separately purchase an arch supporting insole

A good skating boot for the beginner. The double rail is great for extra help balancing on the ice. You'll need to purchase an arch supportive insole separately to make it comfortable for your daughter as I did. This boot has none.

These were for a 7-year-old for her 1st skates and she squealed when she saw them. They fit perfectly, are comfortable for her, and she liked that the double blade allowed her to be fairly steady as she learned.

I know that the double blade helped my 5 year old balance and boosted her confidence on the ice. Some would call it a crutch, but it also made her first time ice skating an enjoyable adventure. She was able to stay up most of the time, and she did not stop after ten minutes like her older cousin did. In fact, I had to drag her off the ice an hour later! These were inexpensive and perfect for a first timer. She enjoyed her Christmas present, and I definitely got my money's worth from that first skate experience.     • Cute skates, but no ankle support

My 5 year old daughter loved these, so despite the reviews, I bought them. They are thin, single layered and no ankle support. So, I will be returning these for a pair of Lake Placid double bladed skates, which have some padding and better ankle support.

    • Nice little skates for price, issues with shipping

I ordered these skates for my neice for Christmas. Luckily, I ordered the first pair in early Nov., because for some reason they were returned and my money was refunded, but I never knew why. I contacted the seller, but did not receive an email reply. I accidentally re-ordered them from the same seller, and they did arrive, but only after I used my work address instead of my personal address. So, my personal address must have been the issue, but I wouldn't know, since the seller never responded to my question for help. At any rate, I eventually got the skates the second time, but unfortunately paid for shipping twice due to the issue mentioned above. The skates are nice, quality and my neice loved them. They are especially nice because they have the double blade-which is good for beginners and little kids. Will order another pair for my nephew. ... show more
