  • Works.
I was suspicious about ordering but they do work as intended. Wire is a little stiff which made me concerned about bending it 90 degrees but it held shape and worked good.

  • Causes issues w/ data transfer
I ordered this since my motherboard did not have enough slots for two USB 3.0 ports, and I needed to connect a USB 3.0 and USB-C port to it. Unfortunately, it seems that combining the two ports to be under one slot causes issues when connecting devices such as a phone or a USB drive. I get an error that reads "the last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it". My theory is that the splitter does not differentiate between its two inputs and does not know where to send output. However, game controllers work perfectly fine under this arrangement and my phone still charged on either port. ... show more

  • Bits of plastic cracked off
This product works as it should but I don't know how long this item has been warehoused but when I connected my port the plastic housing cracked off. It still works but internal connection is now exposed. I had to use electrical tape to wrap around the area affected. Cheap plastic material used on this item. ... show more

  • No data transmission
Avoid this like the plague. Bought his because like many:my motherboard only had 1x USB headers. The female adapter plugged snuggly into the male motherboard header without issue. When using the splitter to connect the default USB header + USB A Key adapter [reason I purchased this splitter], there was no data. I plugged my Pixel 7 Pro into the front panel USB-C and it got power, but no popup on the phone / PC regarding data.Plugged in a USB drive and the same thing. So I used a USBA>C cable and plugged it into the USBA connector [known to be previously working] and you'll see in thee photo, the USB drive isn't popping up. This splitter supplies POWER ONLY and NO DATA. In the second photo, I have the USB-C port connected to a Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook, which can pull up to 65W. At 4.66V x 0.49A, this pulling 2.28W.This isn't useful for anything if you even wanted to "deal" with the fact is 'power only.' Do not buy this cable if you need data. ... show more

  • Front IO Connection Issues
I have found that ever since putting this in my system my front IO USB type A ports have been a bit finicky. Some USB devices work fine whereas others aren't even recognized, or display in windows as mlfunctioning (but work fine on back IO ports). If this is your only option, don't expect it to work perfectly all the time. ... show more

  • Well it kinda works
Need to add usb c adapter to front usb c ports and no plug on mother board. The splitter does allow this however no data read on usb c and one of the other usb 3 ports. If there is only one of the split lines plluged in data will work. Well at least all have power now

  • Nice, but did not work for me
Wanted to split the usb 3.0 header for two pc case fan headers. Maybe has the wrong pin out configuration.
