Likes: *Good cover, thicker cardboard. *You can use the book right side up or upside down because there is a top margin and bottom (stickers for labeling the covers would be nice for help with designating that :-/). *Several in the pack to last a long while or share with a group. * double spine, makes a sturdy Backbone for the notepad. * The bleed-through is minimal to nothing for a wet gel pen. I just did a few pens with this, it’s pretty good. Dislikes: *The paper weight is on the thin side, maybe 70 pound. I wasn’t expecting great quality paper because a red flag went up for me (in my mind) when I didn’t see the weight mentioned with a number. *The brown paper cover ones are pretty low rent, I guess if you just want utility this is perfectly fine but if you’re getting these for kids I’d try and make sure no one felt stuck with it (add stickers?). This is better than crummy but I’d give three and a half stars for quality. Love having a bulk pack though, great for lists, practicing improvement on handwriting, a notebook for a boring class or if you’re a voracious writer, it’s a nice ‘stuff in your bag just in case’ notebook. These are good notebooks to have on hand. The cover is sturdy and the colors are attractive. The paper is a little on the thin side and they don't have lots of pages, but was nice to get a bulk package of them. These are in between a spiral notebook and a moleskin journal. I like having something that isn't so nice I'm afraid to use it, but it looks a few steps above an office notepad or school spiral pad and it opens nicely so you can use all the pages. ... show more
