This was a gift for my 4 year old, he is really into robots and was super excited to get this one. It’s pretty easy to use, looks just like the pics and videos and keeps him entertained for a long time. It’s definitely smaller that I pictured, only about 6 inches high, but I guess I should have read the description better- I would have gotten it anyway I think because I really is the best robot for kids that I found at a decent price. It sings, dances, follows commands and can repeat what you say (which my son gets a big kick out of), so it does everything I was looking for in a robot. We gave this to my 4 year old son for his robot themed birthday. Overall he really likes it but I immediately noticed some pretty obvious flaws. First of all, it does fall down when it bumps into objects but we expected this after reading other reviews. So, this isn't a huge deal. So far it has not responded a single time to the command "Sleep", which is one of the listed verbal commands in the manual. There are other commands that it responds to most of the time, but sometimes just sits there or does an unpredictable response. The 'come here' command is pretty hit or miss. Of course it has a harder time understanding what my 4 year old says, but its still not super reliable when I speak clearly to it. Also the "can you dance?" voice command only works about half the time. Sometimes the robot just sits there and sometimes it dances. There is a "soliloquy" voice command that elicits a few different responses that seems to work every time, but of course that's a word that a 4 year old can't say! Why in the world would such a difficult word be part of the programming for a child's toy? My son likes to use it in the "voice repeat mode", which is when it repeats everything you say in a funny little robot voice. You can also leave up to three voice recordings on it which took me a little while to figure out exactly how to do this, but is a fun feature. Right away I noticed the robot doesn't do anything when you say "hello" to it, which seems obvious to me that should be part of its programming. That's literally the first thing a small child would say to a robot and it would be perfect if the robot said something like "Hello buddy!" in response. Overall I'm glad we bought it but my son has at times gotten frustrated because the robots responses aren't super reliable. And he REALLY wants the robot to say hello after he says hello. Hopefully it keeps his attention and his frustration with it doesn't increase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Not a fan! Toy does not follow commands in written directions, easily falls over. Voice is annoying and very high pitched. Does not do what the advertisement states. I got this for my disabled adult son and he was not happy with it as he was unable to control it even with the simplest words which he is able to say. The toy kept falling over, doesn't turn when it bumps into something. Doesn't follow commands, much smaller than I expected. None of the touch sensors worked as described. Has a mind of its own. Good thing he is disabled and not aware that the toy does not work as it should. Should have read the reviews first. Not happy with this purchase! This toy has been a staple toy for a while. I bought this toy for Christmas 2021 and my daughter still plays with it. There have been many toys since that don't hold up to this one. It's a fun little toy, and I can't help but join in when she gets this one out.

Not a great toy, not recommend. Only works on hardwood floors, talks in another language and the copy back feature is hard to get to work. It is cute and does kinda dance to it's song but the copy feature was my son's favorite and was a pain to try and get it to work for him and ended up getting him a better copy toy that he loved. ... show more
