I got this for my son as he is now growing a manlier beard, and the disposable razors are not “cutting” it anymore. His main complaint is that he has to go over his beard several times and he is going through more than one blade. Personally, I have been using a Mach 3 since I was about 18, and i have never looked back (im in my 40s now). It is almost a coming of age to be able to provide my son the feeling of a fresh, close shave that will last a lot longer than with those terrible disposables. Clearly a well made reputable razor. Despite strong reviews, it did not work well on my beard/skin. A good buy, if it proves comfortable for the user.

    • A Good Razor That Doesn't Knick or Cut Your Face
Was surprised that it came without something to rest it on. As a result, I am now using my other Gillette Mach3 that came with a plastic holder as my travel razor and leave this one to use at home. The price for this one was right and I needed another razor for the road. Both work great.

I purchased for my father, because everytime he came over he had cuts on his face. He is in his 70s so his skin is a bit drier, and he is too cheap to buy decent razors, so I splurged and no more facial.cuts on him have been detected.
