I was in need of certain colored shirts and wound up ordering both Gildan and Russell brand “dry blends” XL. Side by side, the Gildan is 1” longer and wider in the body. The Gildan is slightly thicker while the Russell is slightly softer to touch. The Gildan looks slightly better out of the dryer. Both shirts are good quality and I would recommend either. When choosing a T to wear, if I were more concerned about appearance, I would go with a Gildan. I’m currently lounging in my Russell writing this. These shirts are very comfortable, fit well exactly as described in the listing, and are a nice color. The color is subtle and same as shown in the listing photographs. I was skeptical since most of my experience with Gildan has always been thick box t-shirts. But this dry blend is light weight and the fit is nice. I purchase a 2xl its a perfect weight blank t-shirt for summer.

    • Scratchy Fabric. Get the SoftStyle instead

I bought these Dryblend tshirts as well as the SoftStyle. Both are a cotton blend. The Dryblend fabric is a bit rough and scratchy. I had a similar problem with some Gildan all cotton tshirts. The SoftStyle tshirts are great.
