I am overall pleased with these shirts. Nicer more mature shade of colors than the polo brand. V neck is much more athletic looking than the regular neck cut. The polo offings in the more "mature"/adult colors I prefer are limited so this was a nice find for me. If you are carrying more than 25% body fat don't bother since these are contour following and will make your love handles and pot belly look ridiculous. If you have good muscle tone - esp. in shoulder/delts/biceps the short sleeve look is quite nice and complimenting. ... show more

These shirts are very soft, as others have mentioned. They are a very thick material and, as such, are very warm. This could be a wonderful thing in the winter time or a cool climate. However, I'm in Las Vegas, Nevada, where it's over 100° nearly every day from June through September. I would prefer a lighter shirt which allows the fabric to breath. In fact, I'm not sure the moisture wicking works, as these just seem to soak up the sweat. I feel like when I take it off, I can wring it out. The fit is fine, though a little short for tall people (I'm 6'0"). I worry it's going to come out from my belt (I wear these underneath a black dress shirt. I won't buy these again, but will look for a Hanes or Fruit of the Loom which has a lighter, breathable material, not heavy and thick like these. ... show more

After all these years I found out that my husband does not like regular T-shirts (which he has about 50 of), because he does not like the high neck. White V-neck undershirts are just not standing up to daily shirt use. I went looking for colored V-necks and bought these. The price point isn't bad for these. The material could be softer, but they are thin and cool, which is what I wanted. I do wish the sleeves went all the way to my elbow though. The shirts aren’t bad they are exactly what you’re probably looking for. An under shirt, or you can wear it by itself, but it’s thin. If you’re normally an XL it should fit you fine, but they run very long. I’m 5’10 and the end of the shirt runs way past my waist. It would probably fit someone who is 6’2 perfectly. ... show more

I can never go wrong with Gildan products. This package of six was eight dollars cheaper than comparable brands I could find at the stores in my area. Not only that, but the last store I shopped at had no V-necks in my size. They fit as expected and come in the perfect length as they hit just below my waist. A white T-shirt is the only shirt I wear in this unbearably hot weather. When I see so many people wearing black in this stifling heat, I cringe.
