These are pretty darn good shirts--excellent for the money. I added 5 to my summer wardrobe with this order and now own 25+ Gildan T-shirts. I used to wear Hanes but these are put together better with double stitching, fit nicely (X-Lg as expected), Gildan has a great selection of colors (many, many more choices than other brands) and are a perfect weight--not too heavy, not too light--as baby bear said, just right. They don't shrink much (pre-shrunk says Gildan) --I wash in warm water. Will buy more when needed. Note: they do show a lot wrinkles if you don't pull them from the dryer promptly. 100% cotton might cause that--but I like that they are 100% cotton. No biggie. FYI: Gildan makes pretty good products, like Gold-Toe socks which are one of my Favs--they wear forever. I didn't get anything to write this review--I'm not on Vine's radar. Also, just so you can put my review in perspective--I'm cheap! So, no doubt, there are better shirts--but at much higher prices. You can't beat these for the money. If you ruin one of these shirts with paint, grease, etc... Oh well. No big loss cause they're so affordable. UPDATE (many months later): I have found that these shirts do tend to fade and are susceptible to stains. Probably a result of having so many colors to choose from. Other manufacturers offer only a few colors, and they are probably the ones where the color holds up best and stains don't show as much. So it is hard to compare the colorfastness of these with Haynes, for instance. I've never had Haynes colors other than black, gray or tan, so I can't really say if theirs are more colorfast. I still like these shirts for the money--they're great! And, I keep buying them. I did have one with a seam that started to fail in the armpit. That's where I find Hanes will eventually fail, as well. They aren't perfect. They will wear out. The colors will fade and they'll pick up stains. Oh, and they have old-school sewn-in tags, which bother some people. They don't seem to shrink. Go ahead and try them--really! They are worth the money, IMO.

I just got my shirts yesterday and I know It's very early to give a review but I tried it on and was very pleased. Every time I go to Walmart, Target etc. and try to find a plain shirt (diff color other than black, grey or white) I can never find what I was looking for at a good price for a plain t-shirt and this product fits great, the shirt itself is not cheap (the material is thick and you can't see underneath it) it is by far a great plain t shirt. I have not washed this shirt yet but for the price 12 shirts for 30 dollars and they fit pretty good) you really cant beat the price (that's less than $3.00 dollars a shirt). If it makes it through the wash more than a few times I will buy more of these in diff colors. My shirts arrived also before the arrived date (that was really good). 5 stars and I recommend this product (can't beat the price for 12 shirts at $30.00 dollars).

I bought these undershirts for my NWU Type III's instead of spending a small fortune on the ones from the NEX that always shrink to half the original size. I was worried they would be a completely different shade of brown than the NEX ones, but it wasn't too bad. I attached a photo of these next to the NEX Soffe ones so you can see the difference. These did shrink a little after washing, but not as bad as the Soffe ones. Update: I've been wearing these with my type III's for 6 months now and have only had 1 person comment that my undershirts were a lighter brown than most. They have retained their size and color.

I read all the reviews regarding this product before purchasing so I was prepared. They were much larger than the existing Gildan shirts I already had here at home. I measured them before washing and then washed and dried them on hot. I left only one shirt out of the batch that I washed as a "test" variable. Every one of the shirts shrunk up to match the size of the shirts I had here at home! I am so pleased. I know most people are unhappy that they shrink, but I think they all do, because these now match the ones previously owned. They didnt lose any color in the inital hot wash either. I'm stoked with this purchase actually!

I love mine. I got tired of having to decide which shirt to wear (I teach physical education) so I just got a pack of we gray t-shirts and I was done. I have 12 days worth of clean t-shirts and it saves me from decision fatigue. The price was great and the fit is great. My wife bags on me for always wearing a gray t-shirt, but I love her anyway. My students think that I have my own clothing line of gray t-shirts. I ordered mine larger because I like the roomier fit, but it still looks good. Things like sweat stains don't show up as readily because they're gray.

I have been wearing these Gildan Heavy Cotton shirts for years. The shirts fit as expected and feel good for the price. I've never bought them online before, until now. I believe that I received factory-seconds. I ordered from the Amazon seller, "GotApparel." Four of these shirts now have started unraveling within 2 months of owning them. All of them unraveled in the same location - the armpit. I've only worn the shirts a handful of times, or just once, before they tore. And I'm not doing strenuous work in them. The shirts are faulty. I have never had this happen to Gildan Heavy Cotton shirts purchased elsewhere. I have shirts that are 5 years old and they never unraveled like this. I contacted GotApparel after two shirts torn and they eventually refunded me for the two shirts. It is not worth the hassle to do this for every torn shirt. I am disappointed that an Amazon seller would send clearly defective items. Skip the risk on Amazon. If you wait for a sale, you can actually find these shirts for less in local craft stores, and then you do not have to buy them in bulk. And you'll know that you're getting quality Gildan shirts that won't fall apart.
