True 100 percent comfortable cotton as advertized. Thats exqctly what I was looking for. The weight was almost a half pond per square yard, and they shrink wonderfuuly into the classic fit that I was looking for. I liked the first two sets of these Gildans so much that I rounded-out my collection in other colors. Now I have plenty of fresh looking 100 % cotton midweight shirts. They are so comfortable that I use them for pajamas, and they are so inexpensive that they can be easily discarded or sent to the rag bucketwhen they get old, stretched-out, and oily. Obviously, you have to order about 1.5 sizes or 2 sizes larger to compensate for shrinkage. When they shrink, they become more dense and act more like a midweight fabric, and become more solid. If you ask me, people should know all of these things before they invest in 100 percent cotton apparel. About the only negative thing I can say is that 100 percent cotton is not comfortable when it gets wet, so unless you are scuba diving with these, or something like that, then I would go with a synthetic. But for indoor and most outdoor things, these are perfect and economical. Very comfortable with this purchase. Minnesota Murph

I usually sleep in cotton knit shorts and a t-shirt. All my t's were getting rather ratty but I didn't want to pay $15 or so for a t-shirt to sleep in - and I wanted them with nothing on the front of them. So I checked Amazon out - put "grey Gildan t-shirts" in the search and voila!! I prefer this brand over any of the others that I have tried; and I prefer grey t's because they just seem softer. I love them. I was expecting 8 shirts so I was surprised when I got 10. I guess I didn't read the description very well. Anyway... I am quite pleased with the t-shirts!

I was looking for a non see through white shirt to wear under a dress shirt. Other brands have all been very see through & this was no exception to being see through, however it was significantly much less see through than the others so these will do for now.

The shirts are well made and are on the heavier side. They can definitely be used as a regular T-Shirt with out another undershirt. In colder weather, they work well as undershirts. I have order several Gildan shirts and have never had a problem with quality control as some reviews have stated. Would definitely buy again

I bought the heavy Cotton T Shirt and was pleasantly surprised that they actually are fairly heavy and comfortable. Price was good at 10 for around $35 or so. All in all, a nice buy.

I am not sure if this is a new style, but the tag is very rigid. The material is thick like I wanted but after three washes it's still a bit itchy. Does not feel the same as previous Gildan tshirts
