DARK HEATHER (10-PACK) - 2022 REVIEW: 5 Stars . I saw these when they were on sale in 2021, each one working out to be $2.64. I thought these were worth getting at that price, having tried a 2-pack in 2019 at $7.11 each! (See the review below). . Here I am 8 months later to let you know how these did. TLDR: They are fantastic! . The two photos show new (slightly darker) and used, after 8 months. I didn't measure for shrinkage, but it looks from the photos that the length shortened by about 1", though the fit is still pretty much the same, due to perhaps a loosening up of the weave over the time. I certainly haven't lost weight! You can see a little pilling on the surface, but not much at all considering. They are not "heavy" cotton, but interestingly. they do have a different texture and softer feel from the green T-shirts . Each T-shirt has been worn about 25 times for 16 hours at a time and washed the same number of times (yes, I kept a record - call me OCD, or just an engineer! 😊 ). I've not specifically worn them for working outside like the green ones, more for indoors and going on trips, but none have torn or gotten thin and will be worn many more times yet. . Without question, these have been my best T-shirt purchase ever. I'd give these 10 Stars if I could. I'll certainly order another 10-pack if these ever wear out. This dark heather version is indeed "special". . I certainly recommend these. . ************** . MILITARY GREEN (2-PACK) 2019 REVIEW: 4 Stars . Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging. . I'm not sure what the definition of "heavy" is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example. . I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1"-1.5" on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also. It's a T-shirt and it'll meet my intended use, but I wouldn't say they were "special" ... show more

These are great quality and fit. Also a good value to purchase in bulk like this. We needed for uniform. Would definitely purchase again. I always prefer cotton over polyester and these are nice and thick. They wear and wash well.

    • Not perfect, but not $15 a shirt either.

I had to wear a white T-shirt under my dress shirts throughout my business life. You just look like a noob or someone that never got the memo to dress right as a professional if you didn't. Over the years, in an attempt at appeasement, most of the go-to brands have become manufacturers of really cheap, ghetto T-shirts. Hey, but they are still 5 for $20. This is hidden under the Gildan brand name, which is a manufacturer in Canada that makes T-shirts unbranded or labeled with the company that ordered the shirts to their specifications. Hence, when I received mine, they had the Fruit of the Loom moniker. I wouldn't have bought them had I known F of the L brand. They are no longer a brand that makes the T-shirts I want. These are okay, and I could see it, knowing what I know now, being a premium shirt for a brand such as Fruit of the Loom. So, they are not lousy; they just could be better. I've concluded that if you want a T-shirt built like a T-shirt used for graphics printed on it, I need to get comfortable buying white T-shirts one at a time. I need to stop fooling around with these brands and look for T-shirts in the $15 shirt range. If we look at a T-shirt as a play-day garment, we would feel obliged to pay $15 for a graphic shirt. Actually, the better manufacturers try to keep that $15 price point. These better shirts are of better value than most graphic shirts. The next time you are in a mall, go look at the T-shirts that I am talking about that are better. Catch Macy's or Nordstrom when they are running sale prices on these. You will be much happier if you are looking for something a little better. ... show more
