Bought this for a project that the cards were not going to be in a heavy use. After I finish the project I formatted the cards and put them away. A more expensive card got corrupted and it was impossible to recover from one of my video cameras put one of these in and it's been running 24/7 for the past 9 to 10 months. Just for the hell of it took it out of the camera a few days ago and did a complete diagnostic on the SD card to my surprise everything came back 100%. No bad sectors whatsoever. They might be cheap but they do the job and they do it well I bought more than once 16 gig and 32 gig cards always have five or six on the side just in case but I don't think I will need it for a long time. I really like these Micro SD Cards. These are very easy & simple to put a 1 single File Folder worth of MP3 Audio Songs Music on them to be used in my Wireless or Cordless Headphones that I use them in. Buy putting MP3 Audio Songs in a File Folder on your computer or laptop and that's because your can put a whole lot more on a SD Card then putting them straight onto the card which will hold a lot less songs. I really love these SD Cards. As long as you take care of them and are very careful with them a store them in an excellent case what ever you have on them will out last you. Using BlackMagic speed test; These write at 20. Sandisk Extreme write at 51. Sandisk Ultra writes at 17. All three read at 82. These are good bang for the buck if they are fast enough write speed for your needs.

I took a chance on this brand; it's the the most common name you'd expect to hear when talking about Micro SD cards. But despite my worry, I really had nothing to worry about. Gigastone is a legit brand - their SD cards are just as fast as the competition, and the data storage is rock solid. There were a rash of fake micro-SDs flooding the online markets a few years back. That weird scam seems to have mostly cleared up these days, but you never really know. The Fake Micro SD card scam was wide-spread and brutal when it happened. The news media eventually had to report on it. Not just vlogs and stuff; this scam made Evening News headlines, like the big three Network News...if you know what I mean. So there is reason to be wary of these purchases online. Gigastone has proven themselves a reliable contender in this space. Just polish up the packaging and color branding a bit on the cards themselves, and we've got a bonafide name-brand going here. 4 stars. ... show more

Installed a dash cam and had bad luck with other brands not recording properly. Tried Giga Stone and will only purchase this brand in the future. Works great and is cost effective. After purchasing several micro cards, thi i the only brand that I can rely on to work consistently.
