  • A monitor you need
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
I have this monitor for about 10 months as I’m writing this, and so far the monitor has been fantastic. I was looking for a not so expensive 4k 144hz monitor and this one does the job. It has a decent enough size, I find 28 inches perfect for me. The monitor also feels and looks great. 4k resolution and 144 fps is amazing, and it was just what I was looking for. I haven’t encountered any issues so far either. The response time is fantastic too, and the monitor has lots of settings for you to adjust. It also has a hdmi 2.1 port which is perfect for my ps5 and a display port for my pc. Overall this monitor is amazing and you won’t regret buying it ... show more

  • Pretty good, but the dithering is noticeable at 60hz
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
I really wish true 10 bit color was more common. These monitors use dithering to accomplish 10 bit color, which basically just means they pretend to display colors more precisely by toggling between two less precise colors fast enough that you can't see it. At least that's the theory... you can see the dithering on this monitor. It's less noticeable at 144hz, but i can't help but wish we could just have actual 10 bit color instead of like... 7 bit + 3 bits of faking it. Dithering is my pet peeve so i'm gonna complain about it. Anyway, everything else about this monitor is great. I have 2 of them, and the whole world of computer use feels a little bit smoother at 144hz compared to 60hz. Lots of input options, can power a laptop and display picture over one usb c cable, no trouble with dead pixels or the two of them looking different or backlight bleed or anything. ... show more

  • Very nice. Recommend.
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
Very good quality. I was surprised at the difference going to 3180x2160 made in quality of images, text, and gaming. Monitors have been working fine for months.

  • Amazing end game monitor
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
Forget about that 1440p Oled monitor. The technology for Oled monitors is not quite here yet. Instead, this IPS is almost the perfect end-game monitor as of 2023. Pros: -Impressive blacks for an IPS, considerably better than a conventional office monitor -Very bright -4k resolution, 144fps -Great build quality -Very glossy and clear finish -Easy to maneuver monitor settings Cons: -Color is not as impressive as my AMOLED laptop. This is expected for an IPS panel. -HDR is not worth using ... show more

  • Frequent black screens during use. Decent image quality
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
This monitor was a great budget monitor at first. About a month after I bought it, it started randomly blacking out, and then returning a second later with the input name showing (e.g. HDMI2, DisplayPort). I've tried it with a pc laptop, a macbook, and a pc desktop across several different input ports. It seems to do them on all. Sometimes it will be fine for a while, but other times (and especially on certain apps) it'll do it constantly (like every 30 seconds). It is beyond annoying and totally useless for gaming. Customer service wants me to ship it back to them on my dime, but because the issue is intermittent, I'm worried they'll miss it and think the monitor is ok. I 100% regret buying this monitor and consider it a total loss. ... show more

  • a few here and there, overall good
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
Update: Don't buy if your electrical is a bit messed up. my bathroom lights turns off this monitor and not any other monitors i have hooked up. It's so annoying that when im doing work or playing games everything turns off. I'm still trying to figure out why it turns off & on like it forgot what input it is on. It's a great display but i'm so close to throwing this out my window Since I bought this monitor, there hasn't been any significant issues. The FPS is higher than my 60hz and the HDR function looks fantastic with COD Warzone. There's a few issues in my opinion since it happens a lot during games. Since I have two monitors, if I turn it off, occasionally my PC will only recognize 1 and stack all my windows on to that screen. If I play League of Legends or COD, the monitor will try to adjust the resolution and FPS every time I close or switch to a different program. If you work with small artifacts like thin white lines, the screen's brightness will make it hard to see. It will try to adjust itself to the colors from dark to light by transitioning the brightness. This is hard for me when text are blurred are hard to read. Overall, i still think it's a good monitor. Plays cod. and warzone smoothly. Colors are fantastic. Honestly, if it wasn't for my first test i would've said this is the best picture quality I've seen on a monitor. It's no OLED since small blooming appeared on my test with Ado's new music video Tot Musica. But I prefer that than paying an extra 500 on a tv that would eventually get burn-in faster than the monitor. ... show more

  • Tim-tam slam!
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
I had been eyeing the upgrade to 4k gaming for a while and made the decision largely based on the HUB review and recommendation. I definitely noticed the 2x pixel density and colors are fantastic in picture quality and detail in games. I can notice the difference in contrast moving from a 1440p VA panel to the IPS and I also did enjoy the curved VA to the flat IPS. They have trade offs but I am happy with either as the 28" or so is the largest screen I accommodate. After calibration with the Rtings ICC profile and custom leveling of the R/G/B spectrum it is damn close to that VA during gaming sessions in the RTS/RPG mode. I am not a content creator, merely a consumer so I have no opinion on those concerned matters. I have had the monitor for just over a month and have tried a variety of games and would recommend it highly for the jump to 4k. My only qualm is the lack of rotation of the monitor, which is slight annoying but if I could fit the FI32U with the rotation it would have been strong consideration just for ease of disconnecting and reconnecting. Further, would have considered the M32UC for the option of 4k and the contrast of VA. Regardless, recommend the M28U, highly. ... show more
