Great board for the money especially because it has PCI 4.0x16, wifi, and can run the 12th and 13th gen intel cpus. The down side was no external/built in USB C port and no drivers preinstalled. It is a wifi enabled board but without an ethernet connection, there is no internet connectivity. The only other option is to download the drivers on a flash memory stick from a separate computer and then install them on Windows. It is more of an inconvenience than anything, either you need to have readily accessible Cat6 or a spare computer to download drivers. ... show more

I upgraded my 8th gen cpu to this motherboard with an i5 13600k last week. Just so you know, the motherboard manual has almost no information about how to use the flashback feature if you're not upgrading from a 12th gen CPU, but the website in one specific place does - download the new BIOS file from the manufacturer website, rename the file to gigabyte.bin (the BIOS file I downloaded ended with a .f7 extension, so I'm not sure if this changes over time), copy it to a FAT32 formatted USB drive, insert it into the BIOS labeled USB port, plug in the power cables to the motherboard, and WITH NO CPU, RAM, OR VIDEO CARD INSTALLED, push the Q-Flash Plus button and wait until the LED stops blinking. Anyway, it was a little bit of a nightmare to get going initially, but if I'd had that information before (I get it, it's my fault for not seeing it on the website, but really, shouldn't it be in the motherboard manual??), it really would've been fine. After nearly a week, everything is working perfectly and I have no complaints. Great motherboard so far. Highly recommend! ... show more

The motherboard is nice. Wifi 6 works better than the cat6 wires that I have routed through the house. My only complaint is the popup for the Gigabyte app that needs updated but isn't installed so it won't allow the update. It only pops up when the computer is turned on and I have not found a way to remove it or update it. ... show more

As I get older, i find that I don't need "bleeding edge performance anymore. Gigabyte makes quality motherboards that you can choose mid-range setup specification choices and still have very effective computer performance. This motherboard allows the upgrade to Windows 11 and doesn't break the bank.
