Heavy duty ceramic cooking dish. I've made a few casseroles and homemade macaroni and it always turns out great! Easy to clean and could be used for serving as well. It is a heavier dish but its large capacity is great for a larger family.

This is a really nice, heavy duty baking dish and is large enough and deep enough for any big casserole, lasagna or pasta bake. It's a lovely cream color and is definitely nice enough to put on a table with guests. The only reason I dropped a star is that the inside bottom was slightly pitted, which gave me the impression (perhaps incorrectly, I don't know) that the quality was not what it should be. I doubt it affects the cooking in any meaningful way but it just didn't look the same as many other dishes I have seen. ... show more

The Gibson Home Beachmont baking dish is very nice. It is heavy duty and heavy. It has nice built in handles on the sides and that is so helpful for handling such a heavy duty dish. The white color is perfect to make anything you cook in it be the star of the show. It is microwave and dishwasher safe. I am a little bothered that it does no give a maximum oven temperature that it can be used at. Nor does it say if it is broiler safe. I rarely bake anything higher than 400 degrees and feel comfortable that the dish will be fine at that or even higher temperatures. As for broiling, I usually just quickly brown the top of some things and I think that will be fine. I can't to make lasagna in my dish. It is the perfect size and depth for that as well as any other large casserole you like to cook! I recommend this baking dish. ... show more

For the past 30 years I have used a clear Pyrex lasagna pan. It has done the job, but this baking dish is so much nicer! It is quite heavy weight and is very good quality. I love that the neutral color will look fantastic on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, 4th of July -- it is neutral so it goes with everything! The quality is excellent and it feels like an expensive piece of cookware. This would make a great wedding gift for a couple for a nice upgrade if you are looking for a very versatile and neutral 9x13 dish for casseroles, brownies, lasagnas, tetrazzini, and more I am really happy with this piece! I am keeping this for myself and donating my old clear Pyrex to one of my kids! ... show more

This is a really nice baking pan. It is very heavy and thick and made of ceramic. It can go in oven, dishwasher, and microwave. I'm sure you could even freeze it, but you would need to be careful, as ceramics can get damaged easily if frozen. The dish is basically 9 x 13 size, with a bit of a taper to the sides. It is a muted white color and has lined designs on the outside of the dish. It makes for a beautiful presentation when you cook or bake something in this, and it goes right to the table.
