Fit is okay, sound is exactly what i wanted- not loud but great tone… customer service from this seller is terrible. Missing one tip and they wanted pictures of the box, shipping label and the exhaust. Sent pics of the stuff gave them the part number of what was missing and then they wanted pics of the exhaust received. What? Waste of time. I contacted Gibson Directly and they are sending me a tip- go direct on this if possible! ... show more

If you are looking at this for a single cab Ford Ranger, it will not fit. The tube from the Cats to the new Gibson muffler is too long. It will fit if you get a custom tube, cost $80 at my local muffler shop. The kit itself is a bit confusing since it only provides a single sheet with 6 images. I installed it from the tailpipes back to the front towards the muffler and it fell intoplace easier than reading the sheet. Im not a fan of the sound, sounds like a fart can. Maybe it needs to be broken in but you can faintly hear a chop in the muffler which would be nice if that comes out more. I will say it looks amazing the way the pipes stick out, very aggressive ... show more

In the end, I like the sound and the pipes coming out. Was it easy? No. 2003 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4. All the fitment is straight forward, but things didn't line up as easily as others have stated. The dual pipes out of the back of the muffler have tabs that must line up so you can bolt the two pipes together as they must share a single hanger off the bottom of the truck. I buried both pipes into the muffler the same and my tabs did not line up no matter how I tried. I ended up cutting about 3/8" off the muffler end of one pipe and it worked. Also, trying to get the tips to lie in a horizontal plane while also not having the pipes too close to the spare tire while also not too close the the frame rail was nearly impossible. I fiddle farted around for an hour, spun the muffler this way and that to affect the exit alignment of the two rear pipes. In the end, I had to put some heat insulation around the pipe next to the spare and accept that the other pipe would only be about a 1/4" from the frame. I'm no novice at these things, but I didn't find the fitment to be all butterflies and unicorns. The sound is only a bit more aggressive than stock and and there is no drone in the cab which I appreciate. ... show more

Overall good value for the money. Install is pretty simple and straight forward. Not sure on longevety of the system but so far things work well. Am I faster? doubtful. Am I cooler? probably not. Did this cat-back make the truck sound more like a truck? yes. I did not weigh the stock exhaust but I will speculate that that switching out to this system dropped about ten pounds. ... show more
