It was very easy to assemble. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was: 1. It showed the tables to be delivered in 2 days and actually it took a week. (I needed them earlier cause I was expecting guests) 2. The wood is a cover I uploaded photo where you can see the seam however it’s under and no-one will see it. There are ridges so it does give the appearance of real wood. 3. There are a bit wobbly. Pros: Being on the cheap side it looks very nice and and it serves my initial purpose. To have them as little tables when I have guests over. It is nice to be able to put snacks and a drink on top. Being able to stack them together saves me on space. ... show more

Here's what I wrote to the company's customer service email address, over a week ago. Not surprisingly, I never heard back from them: "We recently purchased your HW61875 side coffee table set via Amazon We understand that this isn't a "top of the line" product and don't expect perfection, but the quality of the set we received was poor. We put the set together per your instructions, and only the smallest table of the set didn't have a significant wobble. The larger 2 were off by at least a half an inch, if not more. I had to spend another hour messing around, taking them apart and then reassembling them to get rid of most of the wobble. The only way I could do so, was by shifting and rotating the bottom cross bars multiple times to finally get them to be acceptable. At least the screws didn't strip from all the screwing and unscrewing. Also, the quality of the welds were poor to sloppy at best and some of the parts were dinged and scratched when the package was opened. As I said, I FINALLY was able, after multiple reassemblies to get the tables to an acceptable levels of alignment. I'm curious to hear your response before leaving a review of your product. Again, we weren't expecting a $500 set of tables, but we were quite disappointed by the workmanship and most of all, by the mis-alignment of the parts. It took way to much effort and time to get them to a usable configuration. The only reason I didn't immediately return them today was because of all the work I had to put into making them finally work - I hope they stay this way." ... show more

These are extremely short! Not even taller than a sofa seat. Make sure you measure before ordering.

    • These tables do what tables do best.
These are great little tables for beside the couch, which is exactly what we bought them for. Fairly sturdy and easy to put together. The smallest one is not large enough to scoot in over the couch, it's simply too short. They stack together nicely when we want to store them away.

So...these were easy to put together...but the table part broke on 2 of them the first time my son knocked them over. My Dad was able to fix them and affix wheels to the bottom to make them easier to move and they seem to be working great now.....my son hasnt been able to break anymore! They are great for him to eat on. With the added wheels, they all fit over the top of my couch!! ... show more

    • Great Set for the Price
I'm reviewing the 3PC stacking nesting coffee end table rather than the larger square tables that are also an option from the seller. My expectations weren't high for this set since the price was so low (~$35 for all three) and it sounded like this would be a shipped from china piece. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that the set came in with all parts. The quality is not high but for the price this is amazing! It looks great and is incredibly easy to assemble. Not all pieces seem to be even, however the metal is soft enough that if you lean your weight slowly on it you can be the uneven end until the table is stable. I added felt bumpers on the bottom of mine so they're real stable now. Tip on the assembly - hand tighten all the screws and see how level the table is, lean your weight to adjust the frame until stable, then proceed to fully tighten, repeat stability test after tightening. this will really help it get stable. ... show more

Faux wood nesting tables look good in our living room and have proved to be very useful when guests come by. You can easily pull the smaller ones out and place them next to other seating making it very handy. Each one is pretty stable, although if you bump into it or a cat/dog jumps on it, it's liable to tip over. I recommend these tables for quick and easy side tables that compliment modern, traditional, contemporary and rustic decor. They are pretty darn cute! The other reviews regarding the sizing are pretty accurate in that the tallest one is just tall enough to sit on top of a standard size sofa and the smaller ones are better for use next to a sofa/chair as they not tall. But, these are not TV trays, so I think the sizes are good for what we need to use them for. Just check the measurements before purchasing to be sure they work for you. ... show more

I ordered these tables hesitant on the reviews. It came to my house on a Sunday and the mail carrier left it in the rain. Luckily everything inside the box was okay. Assembly was super easy. For $32 it is much better than expected. We have two young kids and wanted something modern, yet not to expensive in our living area. The wood is a cover over what is probably particle board. There are ridges which give the appearance of "real wood", which is nice (instead of completely smooth/ flat). Where the ends of the covers meet is on the underside (not visible). it looks as it does in the stock photo. We are using these for an end table in a smaller space. I feel as though they were worth the $, do not look tacky or cheap if it is displayed with the right decor. I found similar sets on Amazon and the internet for double and triple the price.
