I am moving from a large, dated jewelry box to something more modern. It takes up a small amount of room and is very spacious inside. The mirror is a nice size. This is perfect for smaller rooms I only take issue with the dowels used to hold the mirror in position. They do not fit the holes well and seem as if they are going to fall out. Bought this jewelry cabinet for my daughter who has a ton of jewelry, and it was a big success!! She has plenty of room for all her jewelry, plus we discovered the necklace hooks on the bottom of the inside of the door is the right length for all her choker necklaces!! The only down fall was that the LED light above the ring storage did not work... we did not have time to send this back or message the dealer about a fix due to time restraints for the gift. ... show more

    • Careful with the key

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. It was well received and she was excited to put it together. Once it was built she tried to lock and unlock the box. The old style key has an old style inner locking system which is easily bendable. Once she turned the key one full time around to lock the cabinet she was unable to unlock it because the inner rod had bent towards the cabinet and restricted the key from completing the same rotation backwards to unlock the cabinet. With a wife that does not take no for an answer, we had the outter lock hardward disassembled within 2 minutes and were able to use a kitchen knife to bend it back enough to get it unlocked. The key is stored safely and will never be used again. The cabinet is awesome for all her jewelry though!! The LED's are great too. ... show more

I really like it as a mirror and for jewelry. I think it could be more stable because of children and pets. The one thing I don't like is the very strong chemical smell when you open the door.

This is a really nice jewelry stand. The quality is good for the money and it will hold tons of jewelry. The light inside is a nice touch. It was easy to assemble but you need 2 people. I was pleased that my jewelry armoire came earlier than expected. It is simple but beautiful. All wood, no cardboard and super easy to assemble. I do have one problem with the design for the earrings; there is no way to hang hoop earring and make them stay in place. Also, pockets at the bottom of the necklace hangers to hold long pendent on chains would help to keep them from getting in the way of closing the door. The LED lights are a nice touch. ... show more

    • Great MIrror Except for...

This mirror fits perfectly in with the space and decor of my room. A friend and I put it together and after a moments confusion (the illustration had us scratching our heads) the construction went seamlessly. I only have 2 complaints: 1.) I wish the earring sorter popped out so I could stick the earrings in properly. A lot of my jewelry is haphazardly hooked in there and I wish the plastic was hinged so I could affix things more easily. 2.) The velvet smells. I didn't realize how deeply the odor was saturated into the velvet until AFTER I put my items away, otherwise I would've used a lot more air freshener before putting it together. I've been using lots of Febreze and standing the mirror in front of open windows to try and eliminate the odor but it's taking it's sweet time dissipating. That said, I would still recommend this mirror to others with the above precautions. ... show more

In the second picture I’m showing that I attached a chain to the key so it won’t be misplaced, I am an expert at losing important things. Here’s some things to consider: The stud earrings are very hard to get on, but I don’t think that’s really issue, just a learning curve. Does have a strong scent after taking it out of the box, just open a window. And lastly the shelf space is very short, it can only really fit small items such as nail polish. All in all it shipped on time, was easy to assemble and is just what I needed. It doesn’t feel cheap, the materials used feel sturdy. It fits everything I needed it to! I have so much room to add to my collection. I 100% recommended buying this for yourself or as a gift! All my things are now in one place, organized and I am saving space. I love it. ... show more
