  • Great for small family in apartment.
Color: White & Pink
I have purchased other machines similar to this one in the past where you have to remove the clothes from the wash and put them in the other side to spin. While the other machine did the job of washing and wringing out the clothes very well this machine blows that one out of the water. This machine works VERY well for my needs as a single mom with severe allergies to detergents who cannot use any shared washers and doesn't have a washer dryer hook up in my apartment. While the machine does not have a heated dry cycle it does wring the clothes out very well in the spin cycle to where they are almost dry when they come out and dry very fast air drying or with a portable clothes dryer. To give an idea of how well the machine washes we wash everything in it from bedding to clothing to menstrual underwear & dog bedding. Due to all of my allergies I use menstrual underwear instead of the mainstream chemical filled menstrual products and this machine washes them so well they come out looking brand new everytime. Stained clothes from my daughter are no match for this machine paired with out homemade detergent. And our dogs snuffle mats and bedding come out fresh and clean everytime. When I originally hooked up the machine I did have an incident of having water all over my floor twice when the washer drained as the instructions say that the drain tube needs to be upright during the cycle so I did that and then had to clean up the water and trouble shoot. I ended up hooking up the tube to the bathtub spout so that it drains directly to the bathtub and the hose stays in place. Once I got over the troubleshooting with the drain hose it has been SUPER simple to use and washes a decent size load for such a small washer. I do laundry more often than I use to due to the load capacity being smaller than a full size washer but this isn't such a big deal to me. For reference 7.7lb capacity allows me to wash a load of towels or bedding just fine. I am even able to wash our couch cover and dog bedding in the machine. When it comes to bedding and bigger items I have to do one load per item but it washes it very well and even gets all the dog fur. The lint thing in the washer works well, I clean it after each use. I have no way to tell if the blue light is a real UVC light but the blue light does turn on for every cycle. I purchased a splitter for my shower hose to hook up the washer and have it stay hooked up and be easier to use. The machine isn't super quiet but it isn't super loud either, it makes the same amount of noise as a regular washer does and has a little ring that tells you when the load is complete. ... show more

  • This thing is awesome!
Color: White & Blue
Love this compact washing machine, why didn't I get one sooner? It's perfect for apartment living, and it even comes in an unmarked box so your landlord doesn't have to know. ;) It's quiet, easy to set up, and fits in my small bathroom (which is around 5'5" x 7'5"). The unit itself is about 16" x 16" square and is 28" tall. You can barely hear the spin cycle if you're in another room, and there isn't a lot of noise or vibration at all (it does beep when finished the cycle). It is just a little below the height of the bathroom sink, so I took the advice of a few other reviewers and got the 6' long intake hose off of Amazon rather than using the shorter one that came with the washer, and then took that hose to my local hardware store where they got me set up with an adapter that easily clicks onto the tap on the bathroom sink whenever I want to use it. I brought a photo of the sink and the guy in the store was able to look at that and help me. You pick a cycle (there are 3) just leave the water on with the intake hose connected and hit start. There is another hose that hooks onto the edge of the tub and the dirty water goes down the drain aided by a pump. The machine is fully automatic. The lid doesn't lock, but if you open while it's spinning it will stop. You do need to make sure that the intake hose is tightly screwed into the back to avoid leaking, but once I took care of that it was fine. Have done six loads already, including towels. Was able to fit a queen sized sheet set with 4 pillowcases and a few other things (a few t shirts, underwear, kitchen towels) in a load. It fits about half of what will fit in a normal machine, but since it's in the apartment it's no big deal. If you overload it, it will start to make scary noises, so don't do that. The shortest cycle is about 15 minutes and things come out very clean. Better than the laundromat downstairs. Things come out of the spin cycle just barely damp and you just hang them on a rack for an hour or so and they are dry. Sheets were dry by the morning. I don't think you're supposed to wash with very hot water, but I wash everything in cold anyway. And if you don't want to hook it up to a sink, you can just plug it in, put the outlet hose somewhere it can drain and fill it with water and it will work fine -- but that's definitely more of a pain because it actually holds quite a bit of water and it takes a while to fill if you want to do the largest load size. I just ordered a retractable clothesline thing to hang above the tub and have already ordered a dolly for it to sit on which will make moving it around easier. Going to look into getting a portable dryer next. Yippee! Never going down to the hellish shared laundry situation in my building again!!!! ... show more

  • Gets the job done but some things to consider.
Color: White & Yellow
This is a great little washing machine that serves its purpose. I’ll start with the pros. Pros: -fits in small spaces (16 inches wide) -fully automatic -not to loud -easy to use -pretty cute -LED interior light -really good cleaning -doesn’t use much water -doesn’t need that much soap -really dries clothes to about 95%. Clothes dry fast after being hung -changed our lives to have in until laundry Cons: -the width is indeed 16 inches but you have to factor in the tubing on the side which is another inch and half. That puts you at 17.5 inches wide. I had to drill a hole in the back on my machine to require the pump so it would fit in the space I had. -there is no timer on the machine so you have no idea how long your load has been in for -the high water level setting will leak. It’s simply took much water for the washing machine with clothes in it and it will overflow. Stick to medium and low water level settings. -ultimately both the pump and the hose are comically short. You’ll need to buy replacements for both. That will set you back another $20. I would recommend at least a 5 foot hose and then a 6 foot pump. Get someone who knows a bit about pluming to make sure the hose is secured on tight when you replace it. -can’t really use it out of the box. Have to get all the extra parts and do some minor fixing. -you will also want to buy a quick release converter for your sink to make your life easier. That will set you back another $10. -the instructions make absolutely no sense. They are Google translated from another language. -this model is more expensive than the Giantex model that holds only 8 lbs of laundry and has a timer. If I had more space, I would have gone in that direction instead. Also it’s $176 instead of the $250 this machine cost you. ... show more

*photo is my homemade stand/woman made/no experience/scrap wood & random screws/Amazon ordered wheels/& it works!* Amazing so much better then dragging laundry places to wash!!! Perfect for small spaces, handicap ppl and just hang items somewhere airy to finish drying. Washes about half a load of clothes so use half the soap you would for a regular washer. Please note suggest to buy items by Amazon did not work for me. For routine Rv sink please research/buy the following links to hook up the product. 1. Check this out at Amazon.com EDGE INDUSTRIAL Brass REDUCING... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D2GZ6TC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share 2. Check this out at Amazon.com KES BRASS Sink Valve Diverter... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0111KLHKE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share *Note the sink divider has a extra part on it (as to have male or female end) so undo it and it will fit the sink! The brass reducer (water hose sized on the one end reduced to sink size on the other) hooks to the divider on the side which will hook up to washer machine tubing that comes with it. I suggest using plumming tape on each connection just to ensure no leaks and some comes with the sink divider above which is more then enough for connections (don't forget to do washer hookup to back of product as well). Update: I have washed at least 100 loads now and it does spill out occasionally from the inside of the washer area threw the bottom holes onto the floor as designed to do to avoid water holding in machine container. After examination and exploring it undoubtedly doesn't do to well on large load water level because clothes are either to loosely being sloched around and if it becomes entangled or a bulky area happens the water can accidentally sloch out the drum from items not staying flush in the water level selected, which will result in water under the washing machine coming out bottom. I'm going to try to create a platform of some kind with a hole in the middle for it to sit in with a option for a drip tray/dish bucket to be placed under it so I can continue to wash on high level which will allow just more clothes to be washed at one time and the tray to be dumped (saving me from any possible future floor damages). This is NOT a real problem the machine washes excellent! *The washer settings are: 1. Normal=meaning everyday items 2. Wash=more of a delicate cycle (According to my researching online) Each button push goes threw a different cycle choice. The first set is right side listing next to the lighted button so: 1-normal, 2-wash, & 3 and if you keep pushing then it cycles to the left listed side which is 4, 5 & 6 (6-last one being just a spin cycle incase you need or desire clothes to spin a little extra time - example like your thicker/heavier cotton items like a pullover jacket.) *The black plastic piece inside the bottom of the washer stuck into starafoam when in box is just a stabilizer for the shipping process and has nothing to do with product during usages. (Garbage the item after shipped) *Blue light in washer threw my web research stated it is an antibacterial uv lighting to help germ control. * The bottom big plastic square peice (has arrows on the sides of it to show how to place correctly the direction for assembly) in the bottom of the box is for the washer it is to be screwed onto the bottom of the washer to protect anything or anyone from accessing where the belts and items are during everyday usage. *Need a Phillips screwdriver (Star design to assemble bottom plastic square covering) *YouTube has videos on how to assemble and connect this washing machine. (Type in name and search similar washers still teach you the info each model is pretty much the same instructions.) *The instructions inside the drum upon arrival of machine are not translated well into English, so just YouTube and others can teach you what you need to know. A language barrier is not a poor product issue just a translation problem. **Happy washing** ... show more

  • WORSE PURCHASE EVER
Color: White & Blue
I write this with great shame and embarrassment. I live in a very tiny studio so my space is limited, as a result I spent several hours researching washing machines that would fit my living situation. On paper this washing machine looked great. Can hold a 10lb load, the size is compact enough to fit into my living space, the design is beautiful, and it's by a company which has several different washing machines (so you can assume that they went through some sort of quality assurance). What I was met with however was my worst nightmare. To start off the box the washing machine arrived in was missing the bottom part. That means my machine was exposed to rain and arrived completely wet. The box reads that unless you return it in that same box you will no longer be entitled to a refund. This already looked sketchy (I've never returned anything in a box that was not completely sealed and missing the entire bottom). This was enough to upset me, but I decided it was not worth the effort to return it so I began assembly. During assembly you have to screw a square shaped plastic material to the bottom. Well the thing is, there was hardware that was inside the machine (not the part where you wash clothes) that wasn't actually connected to anything. So do I find out how to attach this part that's doing nothing inside or do I just forget about it and finish the assembly, will doing it affect the functionality of my washer? Turns out the right answer is to TRASH IT. Because it did nothing but prevent the washer from working, which makes me wonder what it was doing inside the damn thing. After all the headache, I finally started washing my clothes. Nope just kidding! Because it's missing an adapter for your faucet so now I have to go to a hardware store and buy one. Yay! After going to the hardware store several times because the adapter I bought wasn't working, guess what? It turns out that the watering hose that comes with this washing machine is USELESS. So finally I buy a watering hose (which by the way worked so that means that the one that was shipped is complete garbage), I finally get to washing my clothes. Oh wait, but remember the hardware that was inside the machine, but laying in the machine, not attached to anything with no instructions? Because I let it be, it started making the machine SCREAM. So I trashed it and THEN I was finally able to wash my clothes. The washing is "Okay", it's a washing machine, there's no special features for this thing. The interface is weird, what is the difference between "Normal" and "Standard"? Because those sound like synonyms to me. There's no option for silk or delicate clothing. It's just a plain washing machine that I expect to break down in under a year. I did a lot of research on this machine, and you are paying a premium price for something that is compact with a fancy look. I was okay with that because I thought it was a premium machine but it definitely is not. I've seen many compact washing machines for $120 that can wash just as much if not more than this machine can. Don't be fooled by this gimmick. ... show more

  • Best purchase in a long time
Color: White & Blue
It sounds dumb but I can't remember the last time a purchase made me this excited. No more communal laundry room is definitely worthy of celebration. Also, the shipping package does not indicate what is inside if it matters to anyone. The Giantex fully automatic portable washing machine is all plastic, maybe with the exception of the motor and the drum to keep it lightweight. The machine is the smallest I've found on Amazon. I live in a small apartment with no washer/dryer hookup so buying this made a lot of sense. The wash and spin cycles are not noisy at all. I feel comfortable my neighbors have not heard anything while it is in use. This compact washing machine is easy to use, although there are 6 wash functions, I just use Normal because they all seem to function similarly. There's a reviewer on Amazon that spells out each function if you care about it. The lint trap in the drum is crap so get your own and make sure there is some sort of lint collector at the end of your drain hose. I've had it for a few weeks and am doing a load every 3 days in the summer for one person. I think it will be more frequent during the winter when clothes are heavier. My apartment always smells like clean laundry since I also air dry. It's worked out so well that I bought one for my mom in anticipation of her downsizing from a house to an apartment! She's been using this instead of her full-size washing machine and love it more. The first week I had this machine I used a ($25) Rinsaroo hose that I use to bathe my dog to get water directly into the machine. This is OK if you are fine with manually adding water to every wash and rinse cycles. I highly recommend a Rinsaroo because it works well if you can't hook this up to any plumbing. After the machine proved itself, I ditched the Rinsaroo and hooked this up to my shower diverter. I can direct water to the fixed shower or to the washer using a ($19) universal dishwasher hose kit from Kalero (it is for a dishwasher but it works for this machine as well.) The kit includes adapters necessary adapters, an elbow adapter for the washing machine inlet and a 10' stainless steel braided hose. With some Teflon tape I was able to get it all set up in 15 minutes. I also mounted the ($63) brightmaison Space Saver Wall Mounted Laundry Clothes Drying Rack with Hooks and Swing Arms drying rack right above the washer so it is convenient for air drying. It is perfectly sized for laundry loads handled by this machine. No need to haul out my drying rack since it is right there. It comes in two sizes 17" and 24" depending on your needs and space. To keep this washer mobile, I've ordered the ($19) Milwaukee mover's dolly 16" x 16", it is sturdier and better made than anything else I've found on Amazon. But I have to change out the wheels for ones that have brakes. This dolly is 5" high so elevates the washer even more so I don't have to bend down too far while doing laundry anymore! ... show more

  • Fantastic Little Washer!
Color: White & Yellow
Thanks to the pandemic I needed a way to do laundry at my apartment that wasn't expensive and didn't take up too much space. I'm lucky to have washer/dryer hookups in the apartment but the space is too small for a full sized (which I don't have the money for anyways). This washer was exactly what I needed! I've been using it for about 4 months now and it works perfectly. Set up was quick and simple! Like many others I found that the hose that came with it was the only problem, it couldn't tighten far enough to prevent leaking. There would've been no way to use the machine with the hose it came with. I did see reviewers talk about this and preemptively ordered a "4-ft L 3/4-in FHT Inlet x 3/4-in Outlet Braided Stainless Steel Washing Machine Fill Hose" from Lowes for about $13. It connected no problem and I don't have to worry about leaking. I primarily use it on a medium water level setting, sometimes a low. The high water setting is at a high enough risk of spilling that I prefer not to use it, but it does work. The booklet has a diagram of rough weight estimates for clothing so you don't overload the machine. And with only one exception, all my loads have come out drier than I expected. I did still need to purchase a small dryer (I got a panda portable vent-less dryer which works well) to get them all the way dry. Just be aware that it is a small machine! When doing bed linens (queen sized) I have to run 2 loads for a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillow shams. So be aware that you can't always put everything you want it. I've found that towels I have, which are larger than average, also are hefty meaning I can do 2 towels at a time max. But it fits more shirts/shorts/underwear/socks than I expected with no intense rocking, spilling, or shifting. I won't lie, I was scared that I would spend a lot of money and regret the purchase. I couldn't have been more wrong! Just make sure you save the original packaging until you're sure you're going to love it too so it's easier to return if need be. I attached a video of starting a load of laundry so if you're curious give it a watch. Please excuse my extremely silly voice over on the video, my family was interested and I was riding high on being able to wear clean clothes for the first time in almost a month! That's how excited I was after using it just three times! :D ... show more

  • small but good
Color: White & Blue
I use this for living in a Rv so it just fits in the bathroom and just narrowly can be fitted through the doors. I set the outlit to dump into my shower and manually fill it from the shower hose. Would not use more than the setting of Medium water because if you do high it will splash over and get your floor wet. I have used 1 tide pod at a time and that seems to work on medium settings just fine w/o leaving soap at the end of the wash. If you use manually like I do the first 2 settings have 3 wash periods where you have to fill it up. The first time obviously when you start it up you press the start button on medium with either one of the 2 wash options. The washer has a sensor that starts washing and lets you know you can stop filling. I would fill for 3-10 seconds beyond that so when your clothes settle it doesnt try to autofill with water and stop the wash. If it does stop during the wash just add more water till it starts again. It will wash drain and spin, then it will make this click noise once and try to fill using the auto filler at that point fill again. then it will do this 2 more times quicker and quickest till it gets to the end and goes into a long spin dry. Like I said dont overfill and even if you do fill up the washer dont use more than the medium water option. This isnt a full washer just fill either a full towel and a 1-3 shirts worth of clothes at most or like 10-12 underwear. So far on my 4th wash and its great for not having to worry about going to the laundromat or using somebodies dirty washer. After washing the spin dry does a good job at drying out clothes especially small items like underwear. I have a sorta clothes wire that I just let dry over a day and then hang up with my other stuff or fold with my socks/underwear. No weird smells. Oh and I got my washer in just a few days when it was expected to arrive in about 2-3 weeks. There was some water in the hose but that just proves they tried it out first before sending which Im glad they did. Just remember if you have animals check the lint collector every time it really does a good job collecting hair. ... show more
