Giantex Foldable Glockenspiel Xylophone met our expectations.
Size: 30 Notes without stand
This was a gift for a 10 year old who shows signs of being musically gifted. This will be another tool for him to use as he explores his talents.

I love this glockenspiel!
Size: 32 Notes
I got this for Christmas and have never played a glockenspiel before. It was very easy to assemble, sounds great, and I'm able to play all my favorite piano and organ pieces. I read the reviews before selecting this item and saw some people said the music stand was useless......Okay, the music didn't
stay on the stand BUT it was a very simple problem to fix. I just use a couple metal clips from Staples to clip my music sheets on the top bar of the stand. It worked like a charm! So glad I got this!

We got this as a starter set for our beginning percussionist. The glockenspiel is of decent sound quality but the stand it comes on is terrible! It’s not sturdy in the least and the glockenspiel kind of spins on it or sits at a weird angle. Also the attachment that would hold music sheets, if you do
put it on you can’t use the keys of the glockenspiel that are near it because it sits over the keys. Overall poor design. BUT the glockenspiel is decent sound quality, the bag is so/so-just a cheap nylon bag that I anticipate tearing before too long. The drum pad is a nice bonus and the drum sticks and mallets are decent too. Overall: meh….but also it’s a starter kit & for a young percussionist it does what it’s supposed to but don’t use the music sheet holder or have it standing anywhere where it could get bumped & fall off the wobbly stand.

Great instrument. Bad case.
Size: 32 Notes
My 5th grader loves the glockenspiel and practice pad. The instruments and stand are high quality and work great. However, the carrying case zipper broke after one month. I sent several messages to the manufacturer but received no response. I can't find a replacement case online, so I think we need t
o take the case to a repair shop. It's disappointing that the manufacturer never responded to my inquiries. The lack of customer service made this a 3-star review.

Can’t wait to learn to play it
Size: 32 Notes
Took it to a friend and hoping to hear back on what they think of it’s sound quality. Will spend this winter trying to learn how to play it. Will do an update review when I’ve had more time getting to know the bells. First appearance it feels good and sounds good but I’m no expert. Just one of the th
ousands of want-to-be’s out there dreaming of success as a xylophone/bells player. A later review PROMISED!

Beautiful sound, love how it folds!
Size: 30 Notes without stand
I'm a music teacher and am pretty particular with how music instruments sound. I want the instruments to be of good quality no matter how young my students are who will play on them. I was looking for a glockenspiel with sharps and flats that sounded great but wouldn't take up so much space for stora
ge in my music studio. I took a chance on ordering this one and I'm super happy with it. The overall tone quality is good and the bars have a nice weight and thickness to them. They vibrate well, yet are attached very sturdily so as not to fall off when folding. I love how there's a locking mechanism/slide to keep the glockenspiel laying flat when unfolded for playing. Love the nice carrying case with strap that it comes in. Overall, I'm happy with this addition to my studio to use in my music teaching!

Lightweight and easy to carry. The mallets is plastic and came bent. Will ordered wooden mallets instead. Perfect for beginner band student.

I bought this kit so my daughter could practice at home. I’ve heard her play a few of times and the sound quality is SUPER 👍🏻👍🏻… definitely two thumbs up. I love that the keys have the notes engraved on them as well. It’s LIGHTWEIGHT & small so she can set it up in her room & carry it to school if sh
e needed to. The kit arrived on time and was packaged extremely well. I was a little skeptical to purchase because there weren’t many reviews on the item, but I’m glad I took a chance! It’s a great beginner/learner set. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking to purchase one for their student! EDIT: I changed my review from a 5 star to a 3 star because of the music stand. While everything else is top notch, the music stand is no good. In looking at it, it looks fine. But in reality, it needs more of a shelf to hold the music sheets, rather than just the “curvy parts at the bottom. I like that it attaches to the xylophone, but it’s basically useless without a shelf.

Not too bad fir the size. Stand could be more sturdy. Good enough for a practice kit for band.

Nice sounding instrument, might return mallets
Size: 30 Notes without stand
First thing I noticed was how nice the instrument sounded. The second thing I noticed was that both mallets are slightly bent, making me want to return the mallets or order new ones.

You'll need a wheeled bag!
Size: 30 Notes
The instrument is fine, quality is good on the bells as well as the practice pad. The mallets are super cheap and the handles are bent... But those are consumable anyway. The issue is carrying it to and from school. The handles are too long and thin for my kid to carry it at arms length, but they're
too short to put over his shoulder. Ended up spending the same amount as the whole bell kit to buy a rolling case for him, should have just bought a brand name kit that includes the wheels and saved $100.

This is absolutely perfect for my 5th grader first time band. He can actually get it all together on his own and he can carry it. He borrowed a set from school until this came and that set was so heavy. Sounds good. Worth the money. And it was delivered a day early.

A bit overpriced, but the cheap ones are not worth it
Size: 30 Notes without stand
The sound quality is good, the bag that you can put it in is sturdy. My son is new to band and I originally bought one on Amazon for $25, which was not worth the money. This one is larger and does not have the pegs sticking up like some of the other ones do which makes it very hard for a beginner to
play. I think this one is a little overpriced, but I could not find any other xylophones of this quality that were priced lower. So I would recommend this one.
