My daughter had a small jewelry box that would sit on top of her dresser. It became too small and hard to get to, over time. We wanted something that would not add to the furniture she already had but still be something useful. We saw this and knew it was exactly what we wanted. It arrived in a timely manner. The box was ripped a bit and the top of the product was scratched, but that is not the seller's fault. You cannot see the top of it, so we kept it. It is pretty damn amazing! I would more than highly recommend this for any young lady's room. It not only gives you a full-length mirror but a place for makeup and hair do-dads as well as lotions or perfumes. The light inside is bright enough to see yourself in the mirror to put on lipstick or lipgloss and is easy to change the batteries when they run out. I could not be more pleased with this product!!!

Received the unit on time with the shipping box torn up but the jewelry box looked alright. Inside the box an adjustable shelf had screws loose because the screw holes were stripped out. I repaired this using screws a little larger to secure the shelf. I also found that the metal plate on the door didn't line up with the magnetic unit in the box so the door would not stay shut. I had to remount the metal plate to align with the magnet. The pre-drilled holes on the back of the box for wall mounting were too close to the edge making the mounting brackets visible so I made new holes for the brackets so they wouldn't show. It is a nice jewelry box and my wife loves it but the 3 star rating is because of the problems I had with modifications/repairs.

The only thing I don't like about the jewelry cabinet is: 1) There are a few cracks inside, hardly noticeable and more superficial than structurally compromising. 2) The interior compartments were glued hastily and are crooked. 3) I am skeptical that the tiny screws they sent are enough to handle the weight of the unit plus my contents. We will see! Other than the above, this piece is really cool. It has a beautiful finish, it is heavier than I expected which is nice! It is not flimsy at all. I mean, we are all used to this stuff by now, not quite plastic, not quite wood, but it works and with care, should last a really long time. I didn't realize that this was missing from my life. My jewelry looks awesome in it, and I feel very grown up and organized. I'm 45. ;)

Bought this for my teen daughter’s room. The delivery was a nightmare, it took over two weeks, was possibly lost etc. - it happens, but the customer service was great. It’s not solid wood, but it’s sturdy, full length mirror, fits everything, has lots of room of for every type of jewelry, make-up, a great lighted fold out mirror and never moves when the door is opened or closed (we used the over door hooks and double sided tape on a hollow door). So far we are very pleased with the purchase. It keeps her jewelry neat & organized and out of the way. Perfect for small bedrooms, apartments, dorm rooms etc.

The exterior of the mirror is absolutely fine. The interior is made from poor quality materials. It is very difficult to get post-style earrings in the holders. The shelves shown are very narrow and do not hold much. There is, however, one major problem. The product emits a terrible chemical smell. We had to leave it outside on a deck for 3 days before we could bring it into the house. When we finally brought it in. We hung it in an open area. Finally, we were able to hang it in the master closet where it was intended to go. It is still emitting a chemical order. The odor is faint now. If there were no odor, we would have been satisfied with the product and rating would have been higher.

I liked the idea of a full length mirror that could totally house all my jewelry. But I was so let down when I took it out of the box. The door fell off right away and when I carefully screwed the hinges back on the door fell off again. Now the only way it can be fixed is for me to glue with wood glue the screws into the door hinges. I should have sent it back but I figured I can glue the screws in. Was very disappointed.
