These boots really are beautiful and fit nicely. I love that the laces make the calf adjustable. My only issue is the packaging. The boots arrived in a fairly standard-sized shoe box, with the boots folded in half to fit. This created strange crease lines that must be worked out of the boots, as well as markings in the surface of the boots and the tongue being heavily creased and needing a lot of tlc to stay flat during wear. If you're looking for boots to pull out of the box, put right on and wear, these are not recommended. If you have the patience to work with them, they're absolutely beautiful, true to size, and comfortable. I'll update if needed after a full-day's wear. Update: still can't give a full five-stars because the packaging did cause "scuffs" in the material that I can't work out. Luckily they're not hugely visible if you're not looking for them. These are honestly now a favorite of mine and garner a LOT of compliments. They are beautiful, soft, and extremely comfortable. Even made it through a 13-hour work day, including setting up a new office setup. ... show more

I was so excited for these, I have never found a pair of tall boots that fit and I actually like. I was a little nervous due to the reviews on the quality, but decided to take a chance. Well, they weren't kidding. Multiple defects all throughout the boots. Also, the laces offered no assistance in tightening the calf, which was way too big on me. Unfortunately they are not a keeper.
