The colors on the hardcover are vibrant and the pattern is lovely perfect for someone looking for a nature inspired, witchy, or cottage core type vibes. I've been using felt pens (which are definitely markers?) And I've experienced no bleed through! I bought mine to pair it with planner stickers, which compliment it nicely! Adds a pop of color which I like a lot, but even without it the planner is beautiful and nicely printed.
