If you are looking for a scarf that is NOT a square that you have to fold down many times to make a headband, this is it. Exactly what I wanted, personally, since my job only allows all black hair accessories. It is marketed as a neck scarf, but the width is a smidge wider than that of a wide headband, so it works great that way. The material is thin but a decent weight. It is opaque, so no see-through. Simple stitching, tapered ends, nothing fancy. Has a little bit of sheen to it. It holds pretty well in place with a double knot if you don't mind the long tails (very old Hollywood top down convertible look), but is long enough to wrap back to front to tie a small knot in front. Much better quality than I expected for the price.

The material is a great thickness to tie knots and bows and because it is soft it can easily be worn as a scarf or ties onto a bag as decoration. The color is rich and can go with multiple outfits or purses. It was well worth the money.

This was such a beautiful color. I bought it for a joker womens costume but eventually changed theme. It was lightwear and extremely soft. Definitely more for fashion vs warmth. Would love to buy again in diffent color!

My daughter was supposed to wear a costume that looked like something Steven Tyler would wear for a choir pop show. We got this to wear around her neck, hanging straight down, as an accessory to go with her costume. It looked good, but it would have looked way better had it been longer. We needed it for a specific type of look, and you could use this for many different types of looks, so it you are not looking for a longer scarf, this one might be perfect for you. I wish it would have gone well past her waist, but this stopped right at her waist when worn around her neck, not wrapped around, just around the back and then dangling straight down on both sides of her neck. I would have given it more stars had it been much longer. we could not find one like this that was longer online, so it worked well enough.
