The classic wedge silhouette with upgraded comfort and performance. That's what you get with the Georgia Boot Wedge Waterproof Chelsea Work Boot.Some things never change. We still craft our wedges with the tried and true SPR leather. It's three times stronger and two and half times more abrasion resistant than traditional leathers.Nylon pull tabs and twin gore panels allow for an easy slip on of this Chelsea style wedge boot and ensure a great fit. The padded counter pocket provides additional support in the heel area while the removable AMP LT memory foam insole will wrap your feet in all day comfort. The interior is equipped with the Georgia Waterproof System, guaranteed to keep your feet dry when working in wet conditions.The foundation of this Chelsea boot contains a cushioning EVA midsole and fiberglass shank for additional support and stability. The outsole is engineered from our proprietary Carbo-Tec rubber. The special rubber blend has great heat, chemical, abrasion and slip-resisting properties. The combination of the SPR leather and incredibly durable outsole makes the AMP LT Wedges a perfect boot for working in barnyard type of environments.

The boot, in particular the left boot, had scuff marks/blemishes in the leather all around the heel area where the previous person that tried them on pried them off with the right boot. When I tried them on, my being miffed about the scuff marks disappeared. The insoles are the thickest I have ever seen (& felt) that come with a pair of (work) boots, and feel like clouds. I sat at my desk wore them for just over an hour. My feet were warm again. (Shouldn't have worn athletic shoes to work. No heat where I sit.) I'm going to scuff them up more - unavoidable. Once I break them in, I believe these Georgia Wedge Waterproof Chelsea Work Boots will take place along side my undefeated for 16 yrs other brand boots as 'also my favorite boots'. I have wanted a pair of Georgia Boots for quite a while now. These will not be the last [but the last I will accept with uh, defects :-)] The boots look fantastic! When I first got them they were a little loose but passable. After a day of wearing them, they no longer fit, I now have to wear 2 pairs of socks so they dont rattle around on my feet when I walk!

I loved these boots and I love this company. I've been purchasing Gerogia boot forever. These boots particularly are very comfortable for your feet: however - a bit of a build/design defect. A few times wearing these the shin part of the boot, right where the laces (would be) hurts like hell. Very very sore and hard to keep wearing and walking, especially for work. Had to return this design and get a different pair. Anyways usually super happy about any Gerogia boot ... show more
