So firstly, I admit that I have a bag fetish. I’ve tried dozens, and several have been good. But this one’s exceptional in every way. Built sturdy, looks great, holds a ton and is flexible in terms of how you can wear it. Love this bag!

The Yaun Fan Crossbody Daypack is a decent size. It is a blackish color that the color and finish somehow looks muddy and flat. I don’t dislike the bag but I’m not particularly impressed with the way the black leather was processed or more precisely the end result. The brown features look nice so it’s likely that if the bag was the brown version it would have a nicer look. The front small pocket has elastic loops like for pens and on the opposite side there is a deep pocket framed by the brown leather and white stitching. The main inside compartment has a zipper pocket as well as an open pocket. Then the back of the daypack has another zipper pocket as well as a wire access port for a charger cable or wired earbuds to run through it. There is also a loop above this pocket to hang the bag from a hook or coat rack. Like most companies, the manufacturer imprinted their name into the front of the bag. When I purchase a brand that is the benchmark in their field, the status symbol for the best of the best, I don’t mind wearing or having the brand name on the item but when it is a brand like Yuan Fan that no one has ever heard of, ( and no, this is not the way to get your name out ) I don’t like having their name on what I am buying. Most of their stock photos hide this pretty well so I did want to mention that, to look and decide if you are ok with the brand…thankfully it is just a deep stamped impression and has no contrast to color on the black version. I wasn't sure what to expect with this bag. When I opened the package and unwrapped the bag I was pleasantly surprised to find that it seems very well constructed. It is made of what feels like very nice quality materials. It may take a longer time using it to really know for sure how it will hold up to actual use, but the initial evaluation made me think its a nice quality looking bag. The stitching looks nice and the zippers all work well and are aligned nicely. The strap has a lot of adjustment options for wearing the bag in different configurations. I'm not usually a bag carrier and my wife actually says its a murse and picks on me now, but I honestly don't care. The look of this leather bag doesn't threaten my manhood and if it did I would have bigger mental issues than just getting picked on by my wife honestly. I can always use it as my concealed carry bag to make me feel more manly if I need the extra pick me up too. Its got a lot of places to store stuff. I normally carry a full size backpack since I'm an IT guy as I have a laptop and other tech toys and stuff that I often feel the need to keep close as work is always only a phone call away since I work remotely and am often on call. I plan to use this as a smaller carry option when I don't need the full on the job kit to be with me. It can hold a smaller subset of the normal gear kit and its more mobile and weighs so much less than a full backpack. Gender aside I like this bag and it feels like it will last for me. It looks a bit rugged with the leather material its made from, so if thats a style you like I would recommend it. It looked a lot like the product images so I feel like the images available are already perfectly representative of what you will get if you decide to buy one for yourself. If anything changes in my opinion in the future I'll be sure to return to update my review. Like I already mentioned it lived up to my initial expectations. My only uncertainty is how will it hold up over longer term use. Right now I would say don't be scared to buy one if you think the bag will fit your needs. ... show more
