  • Nice Camera Bag
I used this camera bag for a week trip to NYC. It held my DSLR with lens and a 70-300 mm lens Plus sunglasses case, a cleaning kit and a memory card case. Just big enough for the basics without looking like I was carrying a huge camera case around. I liked the leather - the construction seems fine. I aired the case out for a couple of weeks before travelling, so there was no smell to the leather. I give it 5 stars because it is a nice bag for the price paid. It held up through miles of walking, subway and museums every day. The bag did not get wet, so I don't know how resistant to water the bag would have been. I am a big guy, so the bag did not look as big on me as the pictures would have you believe. All it is going to hold is the camera and an extra lens plus some small accessories. AND I thought this was a plus as it kept me from carrying around extra weight of things I really did not need. ... show more

  • Beautiful bag!
I haven't used it yet, as haven't needed it so letting it air out some, it does have a smell. Not horrible and by the time I need it, should be ok. The bag is beautiful! Very sturdy and just the right size for my Canon 6DII camera and a 2nd lense. I will use this when I don't won't to carry my larger backpack one with all the lenses. The outer pockets are roomy and can carry keys, phone, batteries....I think this will be a very well used bag. ... show more

  • It’s smaller than expected.
The bag looks nice. The camera bag has extra padding that protects the camera. It is stinky. It is small. I can fit one canon r5 camera, lens and flash, lots of batteries. You can not add another camera…

  • Bag was treated with oil that left stains everywhere it was set down
I really wanted to like this item, but the leather from this camera bag was apparently treated with some type of oil that never cured - and it left stains wherever I set it down - including a leather club chair in my library. I have no idea what the manufacturing process was for this bag - but there’s no way I’m going to store expensive camera equipment in it. I tried removing the oil stains from my leather chair, without success so far. I’m furious over this. Overall, it appears to be a stylish, functional camera bag. But buyer beware - if you purchase this bag, set it down on some newspaper or paper towels first to ensure you don’t run into the same problem I did. I sent mine back to Amazon. ... show more

  • Great camera bag for a great price
My dad used to have a bag like this only made of a hard leather--this one is very soft inside and out but the main thing I like is the room for everything and the great protection for my extra-large Nikon camera.

  • Superb Leather for Price
I have my own photography business and have had all kinds of bags for my mirrorless and DSLRs over the years. I wanted to try my hand at something different so I bought a used Nikon N2020 35mm film camera. It’s the first AF camera via a servo valve from 1986. So I wanted to get a bag for the camera to match the aesthetic! When I received the bag, it was a crumpled mess…BUT, once I opened the bag up and took some baseball glove leather conditioner to the outside and stuffed the bag’s pockets full of rocks so it would retain its shape and threw it in the over for 5 minutes on 500 degrees brought out the best in this bag. The leather smells like that new leather interior in your car and it’s a lot more pliable now. Plus the camera looks great inside the felt interior. I would highly recommend this bag if you’re not wanting to break the bank for a certain aesthetic you’re trying to achieve. However, I would not recommend this bag if you have a lot of shooting accessories as the main pocket has a single divider that is rather flimsy. Thankfully I had an extra divider from one of my other camera bags that I swapped out (it uses Velcro on the inside). ... show more

  • The perfect leather camera bag that is affordable.
Have had many camera bags over 45 years. This one is made very well. Good full grain goat leather. Has a great feel. Great look. Inside is soft. Note divider does not move and is removable, but a pro puts lenses in lens socks anyway. Perfect bag that has that vintage feel, is not screening camera bag, and does not slide off your shoulder (because the grain of the leather grips). If you want to weatherproof it use mink oil but it would darken. It has a smell like tanned leather but that wears off. Zippers are good and most imprtant, the buckles are REAL buckles that won't let you down. Holds a body with lens and 3 more plus battery charger and filters. Plus 2 wide pockets I use one for real GPS to find the truck without cell service. Great gift item. Guys like me (and decerning women photographers) that appreciate fine and not overly priced handmade items would like it and keep it for many years. ... show more

  • Not the bag for you and your camera.
Leather is weird and smelly. The flap is one whole piece that’s also the back of the bag so it doesn’t stay open. It’s stiff and weird overall. Gave 3 stars because it would hold something. But it’s not the bag for you. Went with a similar model by brand megagear and love it.
