The bag looks pretty good and holds a lot. However it arrived with a crumpled corner that would not unwrinkle even with leather cream. I still use it but not satisfied with the quality.

I adore this purse! It's smaller than I expected (though exactly the measurements given), but the color is gorgeous and the vintage look on the leather means that any scuffs only add to it. I get so many compliments. It goes with everything. The other reviews warned me that the zipper is plastic, not metal, and I hope that it holds up. Overall, great. This purse is listed as being 10.5" x 9.5" x 2", which is about the same as my favorite old purse that broke recently, which was 8.5" x 9" x 2". I was excited and happy to find one of similar size, that purse was perfect, and this one is even prettier. The actual size is 8.5" x 10" by 1", and the loss of a full inch of depth makes a HUGE difference in the utility of the purse. The exterior pocket that has the embossing on it adds a half inch, but that's irrelevant given the main pocket is still only an inch thick. My old purse could hold most of what I needed for the day while still being small, my card wallet plus 2 tote bags, as many pads as I needed, chapsticks and measuring tape, and then a sandwich or a book on top of that. Even an 18oz bottle would fit in there given some rearranging. This purse holds my small zippered card wallet and 1 tote bag with difficulty, my cell phone sitting on top, bulges out with the addition of 2 pads in the zippered inner pocket, and then I have to put chapsticks and other small things in the outer pocket. There's a zippered pocket on the back which won't get used as it takes valuable space from the main pocket. I gave 3 stars because it's beautiful and I do plan to use it, but if I'd known it was only an inch thick I wouldn't have purchased. I loved this purse in the rich caramel brown color! Tried the red, & was hoping for the beautiful Christmas red shown in my monitor, but the purse was a burgundy, so returned it. Still using & loving the lovely dark brown sugar leather version!
