We borrowed a bassinet from a relative for kid #1 which was no longer available when kid #2 came around, so we picked this one up, so I'm saying this with that other one as my only point of comparison. Don't remember the brand or details of that one; I believe it was ~$200, Halo maybe? I can't remember - it was basic, no electronics, rocking, noise, etc., so comparable. This one is cheaper in cost, and materials do feel a tad more cheap in quality, but not to an extreme degree - I'm still perfectly comfortable and confident to throw a baby in there. No rash or skin problems with newborn skin on the fabric, so they get the check on basic health code stuff, I'd say. It's got the normal wobble from tolerance in joints, but it's still sturdy, and I weight tested it beforehand above double baby weight with some books and it made me feel good about it. The levers and adjustment locks aren't the best operating or most user friendly thing, but I'm almost surely going to just set and forget it. Likewise, it has more features, like removable side, that I frankly didn't even try out because my needs are for a basic, reliable place to put my baby at our bedside. For that, this gets the nod and approval. The castors / wheels are a tad cheap - work ok on hardwood, but this is on a rug, where they're worthless. Again, not going to use them, myself, just letting you know. Assembly was quick and easy. Appearance is basic, which is good for me. The little basket below is not designed the best for access, so I'm not sure what I would store in it, because it doesn't really allow easy access for quick grabs at mid-night. All in all, we're happy to use it, but it has areas for improvement. For most people, like us, who just want basic and low price - it's perfectly sufficient.

I bought this about a month ago when my daughter was born and it’s been pretty useful overall. The setup wasn’t too bad, took me maybe 20 minutes to figure out without looking at the instructions too much, tho I did have to go back and check a couple times to make sure the height adjustment buttons clicked in right. We’ve been using it mostly in the bedside mode attached to our bed and it’s really conveniant for middle of the night feedings - I can just reach over without getting up which has been a lifesaver honestly. The mesh sides are nice because I can see her without leaning over, and she seems comfortable in there with the mattress they include. It’s firm enough that she doesn’t sink in but still has some cushion to it. The mosquito net thing is handy even though we’re indoors, keeps random dust and stuff away I guess. I tried the rocking cradle mode a few times and it does rock smoothly when you push the button on the side, though my baby doesn’t seem that impressed by it compared to just being held. The storage bag underneath is bigger than I thought it would be and fits diapers, wipes, extra clothes pretty easily. Now for the issues - the wheels are kind of small and feel a bit wobbly when you roll it around, especially on carpet. They work fine on hardwood but I wish they were more stable. Also the height adjustments are limited to just three settings which didn’t perfectly match our bed height, so there’s like a small gap that I had to stuff a rolled towel in to make it level. The tilt function for the incline works but you have to make sure both sides are adjusted the same or it sits crooked. Cleaning the fabric parts is doable but they don’t come off super easy and putting them back on takes some patience. For the price its a decent option if you want something that does multiple things and doesn’t take up too much space. Just know it’s not perfect but it gets the job done for those first few months.

This is really solid bassinet that is quite well designed. It's pretty straight forward to assemble and setup, the instructions were good, and the listing video basically shows it. The included mattress is nice and comfortable, and they claim it meets CPSC safety standards. It has a nice amount of softness but it's still pretty firm. There are three modes, the first is independent bed (which is what you see in the pictures), the second is a bed side mode that I ended up using a lot. In this mode the side is removed so you can directly access your baby from your bed. This is really cool and makes it really convenient to soothe your baby when they wake up at night. The third is a cradle mode where you can rock it side to side - some babies like this motion, but I didn't use this mode that much. It's super convenient to use, the bottom wheels are good so you can wheel this around pretty easily. It even rolls on carpet, although not as smoothly obviously. You can also adjust the height too. Taking it down for travel purposes is pretty simple too, so if you need to take this with you on the go then it's fairly convenient. The overall quality is pretty good, it's not super duper premium as there is a fair amount of plastic, but it's definitely good overall and definitely sufficient. It's also a really good value too, given it's fairly low price, bassinets can be extremely expensive and this is under 100 as of writing this review.
