I really thought we’d have to fly back to Japan just to get another bottle of this. Not that that would be a bad thing. We had gone to Japan in 2018 and my husband was in dire need of mosquito bite relief. Me, not speaking the language, had to resort to using the international sign for itchiness which luckily got my point across the the very nice Japanese man at a local pharmacy. He pointed me to this product and it works WONDERFULLY. Since then we had been rationing out this bottle and looking for this in Japanese stores with no success. Until I decided to search on Amazon. The product picture wasn’t identical but we were running very low with our original bottle and hubby is still tasty to local mosquitoes. I took a chance and to my surprise, it’s IDENTICAL. I’m attaching pictures of the two bottles for comparison. Now, this does have a very medicinal “Ben-Gay”-ey, smell which doesn’t bother us. This stuff really works! I was introduced to it by a friend on a camping trip and ordered myself one as soon as we got home. She got it directly from someone who brought it back from Asia. Not knowing what I'd get ordering off Amazon I figured I'd order one as a test. It was great! So I ordered two more intending to gift it out. Unfortunately, both bottles in the second order leaked. The boxes were soaked through, the print was all smudged. I normally hate all the separate packages Amazon sends but this time I'm glad these were packaged ad send separately from some other lothing I also ordered or it would have ruined it. Even the bottle itself is smudged - not a good experience for gifting. I'm not even sure how much of the liquid is left over. This is the product my parent use and I use since I was a kid. I always trust this. It has a unique smell, not in a bad way. Might sting a bit if you have already scratch the spot, but works immediately.
