This is a high quality product. It fits nicely on my 8ft pool table. It’s light and it folds away when not in use. The foam inside is very firm, and it looks like it’ll last years with proper care. The foam seems non compressible, so some care is warranted not to crush or dent the foam. Overall very pleased with the quality.

I was a little worried about the product having some kind of tacky glue as mentioned by a couple of people in the reviews but after I asked about that and got a positive answer I decided to go ahead and give it a chance. There was no tacky glue on the product and as you can see it fit our pool table perfectly. The lumpy you see is from the vinyl cover that’s underneath my table cloth and not from the insert. You can also see that it is handling the weight of a Costco size dog food bag quite well. Excellent! Now I can have a real dining table since my husband confiscated our dining area for the pool table and made it his sports room 😆.

Folds away quick, goes on quick. You'll want to be careful if it rests on a static-y, dog hair floor. It'll put down on your felt whatever it picks up, but that's the fault of the person who cleans the floor.

We've had this for about a year now, and I am thoroughly impressed. We were hesitant to spend the money because you never know what quality you will get, but it was a great investment. The pool table is in our kids playroom, so we needed something to turn it into something they could play on, and also so they wouldn't wreck the pool table. It's still as sturdy as when we bought it a year later, with the kids climbing and jumping on it almost daily. It's flat enough to duplicate a regular table for most things (puzzles, food, art projects, games). Only thing you can't do is write on it, since it has some texture.
