I saw some people suggested getting one size smaller. I normally wear XL but ordered the L and it was very snug. I returned it, no problem and got the XL. Mine is solid black. I'm 6ft 1 and 240lbs. It arrived two days after I returned the smaller one! That was cool. I tried on my coat and I am really impressed. It fits me just right. The coat is warm but not suffocating and it has room for a sweater. So you don't have to have six-pack abs to wear it. Nice warm deep pockets. The fabric and zippers very sturdy and I anticipate it will last a while. Not only is this coat very comfortable, it is really nice looking. It's like the company asked me what I wanted in a coat. I mean it. I wore it again this morning with the hood in 38 degree driving rain. With just a shirt under it and the hood, I was perfectly comfortable and dry. I initially thought the hood was too big so I remove it for decent weather. In the rain it's like an umbrella in that not a drop fell on my head or face and it's warm too. This is a really good coat! You don't need anything fancier or more expensive. For the price, it's a great deal and I look good in it, that's priceless! I'm going to order another color. Well done guys. This has got to be one of the warmest jackets I’ve ever warn. It’s everything it says it is windproof? Sat in front of a fan in my garage at about 20 degrees f out side and let the fans wind hit me and felt absolutely nothing. Waterproof? Yup sure is been walking through the rainiest of fall days here in Minnesota no problem. I imagine when the deep cold hits you’ll need a few layers underneath but for the most part this coat is a TANK it ain’t no fashion winner but it just works. ... show more

If you've dealt with a winter in north dakota, you know the wind is the absolute worst. I tested out the coat in 20 degree weather with the wind and it held up. The jacket is super comfortable and kind of heavy. We haven't hit January or February yet, so I don't know just how well it holds up against the wind and cold in the heart of winter. Has everything you need in a warm, winter coat. Only problem is wrinkles hard to get out since it’s shipped rolled in a tight ball. But pockets, warmth, feel, description, hood, look and weather-proofing all living up to expectations. I got the all-white and it’s sharp!

This came with a very odd odor, like mothballs. Aside from that, it seems like a really nice coat. Kept me warm. Has a lot of nice little features like little things that keep wind from getting up the bottom and stuff like that. Great design.

I bought this jacket for two of my children and myself. When we tried them on the day of arrival they were so comfortable, warm and fuzzy. When I read reviews it seemed as if the sizing would have been bigger than expected but they fit perfectly. I got a men’s large for my son whom is 5’5” 150 pounds. A men small for my son whom is 5’2” 100 pounds and myself whom is 5’5” ~240 a 2xl. Mine is a little tight in the belly area when zipping but that I am not to worried about. We can’t wait for it to get super cold in Wisconsin to really test them out! ... show more

For the price, this jacket is super warm and comfortable...I am glad I didn't pay $400 for a jacket! I would highly recommend this coat...the pockets are great but the level of warmth you get is superb!
