They do definitely need a couple of extra coats of the base gel on top to strengthen them once you have attached them. So glad that gel-x nails are a thing. These are not gel, but they’re perfect for it, look good, easy to use, and shape up real nice. Some people complain the sizes are too big, but that’s a good thing. What do you want? It too small? I purchased these to save money by doing my nails at home, and honestly they are great!! I did them and used another kit's gel glue and gel colors, top and base coats and my gosh it looks like i spent hours at the nail salon!! Will be ordering more from this brand!

The media could not be loaded. I have only had tips or extensions once but they were thick and bulky, in short ... I hated them! I'm extremely picky about my nails and have only ever done gel polish (both in salon and on myself) over my natural nails (since the bad experience years ago). So this is coming from a total amateur point of view. These are behinner friendly! Ease of use was excellent. Basically I just put a base layer of gel under the nail and cursed to secure it to the majority of my nail. I did cut the length way down because I can't do super long nails and then shaped to how I like them. They are not bulky, which is awesome. They matched with nail seamlessly. I then applied gel polish over them. Removal was also incredibly easy! I only know this because one cured crooked (my fault, not the nails) so I had to take it off and redo it. It melted away when I soaked with acetone, just like it said it would! In short, these are fantastic and if I ever run out, which is unlikely, I will definitely repurchase. I have also already recommended them to a few friends who were highly impressed withy nails. I just took the video today and I've had these on more than a week. Don't pay attention to my cuticles, they are a hot mess! Haha Price is excellent as well. I'm cheap, so this was an awesome deal in my book! ... show more

This nail kit is exactly what I hoped it would be. Excellent price and great quality! Easy to trim if you want them a little shorter if you’re like me and struggle doing things with longer nails. They’d be super cute at their as-is length too! They hold up extremely well and look exactly like they would if I’d had them done at a salon but for 1/8 of the cost and, since they’re just glue-on (glue not included) and not acrylic or dip, they don’t damage my real nails. The nails fitted nicely and the matte finish didn’t make me spend time filing the nails.
