I bought this shoe in the pink color - it's a very bright pink so be prepared! The shoe fits true to size and has good toe room. The cushioning is adequate for walking or for exercise class, but if you want really deep cushioning you'll have to get a different insole. I would consider this insole to be similar to what you usually get in a lesser expensive sport shoe...it's about 3/16th inch thick at the toe end, has a little more along the "arch" but not really a support (the arch support basically comes from the side of the shoe). This is okay for me because my feet are not the same size so the arch always fits wrong on one foot if there is a firm arch support on the insole. There is a little more cushion thickness in the heel area. The bottom of the shoe is as pictured, so if you are needing traction on uneven or wet/grassy surfaces, this probably isn't going to help much, but it's good for pavement or indoors, or flatter outdoor surfaces. the base is a bit wider than the shoe, so seems stable when walking. The shoe is all mesh on top, so lightweight and breathable and seems well made. The lace holes are reinforced as well. Overall, they are a decent shoe for the price, and the insole comes out easily if you need to have more cushion or support. I did about 8 miles in these shoes the first time I wore them and had no rubbing or sore spots at the end of the day.

Let me start by saying these shoes are cute and affordable! I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size. I typically wear size 8 or 8 1/2 with maybe one 7 1/2 or 9 every here and there depending on the brand. I ordered 8 1/2 because I didn't want them to be too small, but it turns out they are a bit too big! I don't think it's much of a sizing issue, but I would recommend if you are usually in between sizes to order the smaller/size down. I will just have to wear them with thick socks because even after lacing them tighter, in regular socks, my heels rub up and down the back, and I worry that would blister after long distances. As another review said, the arch support does feel like it's back a tad farther than it should be, but I honestly don't feel that's uncomfortable, and I've had other shoes made the same way before. The sneakers appear well made for the price, other than the laces seem a bit cheap, and the shoes are on trend with today's styles. They feel somewhat squishy when walking (light memory foam in the heel). If they were a size 8 and fit me better, it would likely be a 5 star review.

Our daughter got a hole in the outer part of her old running shoes and needed a replacement pair before her 5K. She loved the bright colors of these shoes and said they were comfortable. She ran her race with no issues. We liked how there was more reinforcement in the toe box but weren’t too impressed with them rubber on the bottom of the sole. We’ll see how it wears, but the rubber was kind of hard and slick. She still loves these shoes and can’t wait to run her next race.
