With so many gear wrench sets on the market now it's hard to choose the one that might be right for you. This one met all my needs. I wanted the offset box-end that comes with the reversible style. I also wanted a slim profile instead of the x-beam style and I had to have the 7 piece set. One of the added bonuses on this set is the wrench roll which is great for someone who has to carry alot of tools around to service electrical equipment. I have used the set extensively and only noticed the arbitrary direction switching once, still it is enough to bring the down to 4 stars.     • Automatically Reversing Wrenches
Do not purchase these reversible wrenches from Gear Wrench! While using them, I've found that some of them automatically reverse in the opposite direction that you want to go. To be specific, the reversible lever automatically moves in the direction that you want to go. It is very frustrating if you are in a hurry to do a job. I've been in the Commercial Aviation Industry for over 21 year now. I've used many different kinds of tools. These tools could have been useful if Gearwrench had done some more product testing before releasing them on the market. I purchased these wrenches from Sears a couple of months ago. They had been sitting around the house for a while before I actually brought them to work for a trial. My mistake. Now I cannot return them because it has been well over 30 days. I'm writing this review in hopes that no one else makes the same mistake that I did. These polished wrenches look good, but their performance is very disappointing. ... show more
