I am a lightweight 140 lbs and this paddle is not heavy. Great for the aggressive player who likes to spin the ball. I’m a beginner pickleballer with lots of tennis experience. I will credit this paddle to getting me placed immediately on the neighborhood “expert” roster. I’m able to control placement and spin to great advantage. This paddle is slightly narrower and longer than most, which works well for me. I don’t think you need a wider paddle to find the sweet spot. My strategy was to buy a more expensive paddle that would not limit development. It was worth every penny. ... show more
