GDM started in Los Angeles in 2013 with a simple goal: helmets and gear that look good, fit well and protect riders on every ride. Today our lineup covers full face, modular, dual sport, retro and youth helmets, Bluetooth headsets with intercom, and riding gear. Every GDM motorcycle helmet is certified to the U.S. DOT standard, FMVSS No. 218. GDM began in Los Angeles in 2013, started by riders who wanted helmets that look good, fit right and meet the DOT standard. Our helmets and gear come ready to ride: extra shields, Bluetooth headsets with intercom and complete gear sets, in styles from retro to dual sport. Because riders write to us. We hear from riders whose GDM helmet was with them on a day they will never forget. That is why every helmet we sell is DOT certified. The GDM BEAST is a DOT FMVSS 218 certified dual sport helmet for pavement, dirt and snow. It comes with 3 shields: clear (installed), smoke and the color you choose, plus a removable peak visor and a drop-down sun visor. Every box has the clear shield installed and a smoke shield for bright days. Then pick your third shield. Mirrored silver finish that cuts glare on bright days. For daytime riding. Gold mirror finish that cuts glare and stands out. For daytime riding. Blue iridium mirror finish for bright sun and snow glare. For daytime riding. The GDM BEAST dual sport helmet with the clear shield installed, peak visor and drop-down sun visor, a smoke shield, a third shield in the color you choose, a helmet bag and the owner's manual. Goggles are not included. Measure around your head about 1 inch above your eyebrows and match it to the chart. GDM helmets run true to size and fit an intermediate oval head. Between two sizes? Can I wear goggles with the BEAST? Yes. Take the face shield off and the BEAST fits off-road goggles under the peak visor for dirt, dust and trail riding. Goggles are not included. What can I ride with it? Street and adventure bikes, dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, scooters and snowmobiles. Ride with the shield down on the road and in the cold, or swap to goggles on dusty trails. Can I ride at night with the colored shield? No. Use the clear shield at night and in low light. The smoke, chrome, gold and iridium shields and the drop-down sun visor are for daytime riding. Why does my shield fog when I stop? Any full face shield can fog at a stop in cool or humid air. Crack the shield open or flip it up when you stop. Airflow clears it once you are moving again.
