Sharp 4K Display That Works Great for Home and Office Use

This Gawfolk 27-inch 4K monitor has been a great addition to my desk setup. The 27-inch size feels perfect for both work and everyday use because it gives plenty of screen space without feeling too large or overwhelming on the desk. The 4K UHD resolution is the biggest highlight. Text looks sharp, images look clear, and the extra screen detail makes a real difference when working with documents, browsing, watching videos, or multitasking. Compared to a basic 1080p monitor, the picture quality feels much cleaner and more premium. The IPS panel is also a nice advantage because the colors look consistent from different viewing angles. Whether I am sitting directly in front of it or slightly off to the side, the display still looks good. For normal home office use, streaming, school work, and productivity, it performs very well. I also appreciate that it supports both HDMI and DisplayPort. That makes it easy to connect to different devices like a desktop, laptop, or docking station. The 60Hz refresh rate is perfectly fine for regular work, media, and general computer use. The monitor also has a clean, simple design and does not take much effort to set up. Having wall-mount support is another useful feature if you want a cleaner desk setup or more flexible positioning. Overall, this is a solid 4K monitor with sharp picture quality, good screen size, useful ports, and a clean design. For home and office use, it delivers exactly what I wanted. Five stars!

Like Having Two Monitors Without the Extra Clutter

This 34-inch monitor has been an excellent addition to my setup. The screen is large enough that it feels like having two monitors side by side, but without taking up as much desk space or requiring extra cables. It's great for both gaming and multitasking. The picture quality is excellent. Colors look vibrant and accurate, and everything on the screen looks sharp. When I first set it up, the brightness was set to 50%, but adjusting it was simple through the monitor's built-in settings menu. The control buttons are located on the bottom of the monitor. At first, it was a little frustrating because you can't easily see them, but once you learn where they are, they're easy to find by touch and navigate without any issues. One thing I personally don't love is that the cables connect from the bottom rather than the back of the monitor. That's mostly a matter of preference, though. I can see how the bottom-facing ports could actually help create a cleaner-looking cable setup for many users. The stand was also easy to assemble. After screwing the stand together, it simply snaps into the monitor, making setup quick and straightforward. The only potential drawback I noticed is that the monitor uses a unique mounting system for its stand. If you're planning to use a different stand or a monitor arm, you may want to check compatibility first, as it doesn't appear to connect the same way many other monitors do. Overall, I'm very happy with this monitor. It offers excellent color quality, plenty of screen space, and an easy setup process, making it a great choice for gaming, work, or everyday use.

Fantastic monitor with a great price!

I wanted a matching set. This monitor was on a Prime Day special so perfect timing. At 27" it is not overwhelming in size. The clarity and picture quality are unreal. Setup and mounting took a minute and the monitor stand is adjustable. I may buy a third monitor just for fun of course due to price a ND quality.

Great monitor to get work done and engage in virtual meetings (I'm not a gamer).

I am not a gamer. I got this monitor because my career requires virtual meetings all day most days I work, and because I needed a big screen to engage in multiple tasks and applications. I wasn't looking for the sharpest, highest quality images. This 34" is a game changer for my day-to-day work (after working off a 13" laptop). It was easy to set up, easy to connect, and it allows me to get my work done in an efficient manner. I've not had any issues with it so far and am very happy with it. I think great item for reasonable price.

Surprised at the quality

I was looking to get a 1080p widescreen monitor, as my first one. I needed to upgrade to something with more real estate than my 15.6" laptop screen, and I saw this one, and the cheap cost, and was intrigued. I didn't want a curved monitor, though I can see why someone would want a curved monitor now that I've used this one for a few days. This monitor is *not* curved. It arrived and I plugged it in, fully expecting it to have a dead pixel, or a bad connection, or to be otherwise "bad" in some way, and I was surprised, because it seems fine, so far. Better than I was expecting from a non-name brand monitor with zero reviews online anywhere. No dead pixels, no weird flickering. There was a sticker covering the monitor that tells you to not remove if there is any problems, and to reach out to Gawfolk first, but that protective film has a stamp on it that says the model number of the monitor, and I wasn't sure if that was an issue with the monitor, or if it was with the sticker until I removed it. I'd suggest not having the model number placed on the protective film, or make it more obvious that it's a part of the film and not some fault with the monitor itself. I will say however, the description and information for this model is inconsistent. The manual says to use an hdmi cord that is "HDMI 2 or better" to ensure a good connection, but nothing is listed as to the quality of the cable the monitor ships with. One set of information says it is 1.4, another says 2.1. HDMI 2 is not required because this is not a 8k monitor, and HDMI 1.4 is plenty sufficient for this resolution. The monitor quality seems a little blurry, in a way I can't really explain. Perhaps 34" is too large for 1080p ultrawide? or is it due to the pixel density of the monitor? I'm not entirely sure. It seems to report to Windows 11 that it is 120hz, and best I can tell it does appear to be at 120hz, but I have a hard time discerning hertz over 60. I used to have a 144hz monitor that was side by side with a 60hz monitor and telling the difference side by side "stood out" but it wasn't nearly as obvious as going from 480p to 1080p, for example would be. My laptop has 165hz but it all seems rather meaningless to me. I'm also docking it a point because there is *zero* height adjustment, and the attachment to the back is a bit flimsy. I haven't tried to see if it is VESA mount capable because I don't have the mount arm anymore I used to have. If you want the monitor to be higher up, you will need to put it on a box, or use a VESA mount. You *can* tilt the monitor, but that seems a bit meaningless to me because the tilt is not much. I primarily use this for gaming, and it seems to be fine for gaming, besides the issues I had mentioned. I took a risk and so far everything turned out okay. I'll update my review in the future if anything changes.
