Description

The all-terrain multi-utility cart by Gator Frameworks hauls your gear to its destination without any hassle. Constructed of a heavy-duty, welded steel frame, the cart will bear the abuse of multiple trips with a maximum load capacity of 500 lbs. The GFW-UTL-CART52AT comes loaded with rugged, 10.25”/260mm rear tires for traveling over rough terrain such as gravel, dirt, grass, and uneven grounds. The no-flutter locking swivel casters on front (8”/203mm) are specially designed to counteract cart wobble and prevent any unwanted noise. Engage the locking casters when on an incline to prevent your cargo from rolling away during loading and unloading. The cart easily adapts to a variety of needs with its eight different configurations: Compact Dual- Handle, Extended Dual-Handle, Compact Single-Handle, Extended Single-Handle, Compact Collapsed, Extended Collapsed, Compact Upright, and Extended Upright. Step down on the bottom release latches to fold down both side handles for enabling different configurations. The cart will extend from its most compact size at 30”/762mm to a maximum of 52”/1321mm. Non-pneumatic tires keep your gear rolling without having to worry about punctures leaving you flat. Additionally, non-slip grip surface and stair climbers help keep your gear from sliding off the platform during movement. Have now used this all terrain cart for 20+ gigs. I’m so glad I got the large wheel version. It rolls super smooth over all kinds of surfaces, from rough roads and parking lots to grass and gravel. It is a heavier cart than I’m used to but it’s worth the weight. I’m a solo looping musician but haul a lot of gear to each gig. Usually I’m hauling a Pedal train pro in a flight case with either one or 2 Bose L1 systems and another Subwoofer, a large pelican type case with my lighting, cables, accessories and hardware, a fan and some mic stands. Everything fits nice and is secure. Because the wheels give such a smooth ride my gear doesn’t rattle loose and fall which was a problem with other carts I’ve used. I don’t have to use ratchet straps all over to keep things secure anymore. Which saves time and looks more professional when rolling through venues with clients and guests present. Many of my bookings are in hotels and restaurants here on Oahu and appearance matters to clients even during load in/out. I highly recommend this cart to any person needing a sturdy cart that has massive capacity which can be collapsed to a reasonable size and can handle most any terrain you need to get through. ... show more

Overall it's a really nice product, the ability to fold it up and put in the car for transport is very handy, it can hold a lot of stuff when it's extended and the large wheels make navigation over mixed terrain very easy. This replaced a cart with smaller hard wheels that were constantly an issue going over door thresholds, even the smallest of ones. Things that could be improved upon: It sticks sometimes and has a hard time extending, plastic bushings that go into the tubing would make the slide smoother and help prevent binding due to minor misalignments while extending it. The manual hand screws are a bit annoying, they can lock it in good but the issue becomes the majority of the time we only use it on the shortest size or the largest. If the hand screw configuration is setup with a dead space between the threads, the screw can free spin instead of accidentally being unscrewed too far. Adding a hole for the ball bearing to fall into at the short length like it is at the long length would be great, I'm actually considering doing it myself. ... show more

I purchased this Gator Lower Deck to be used with the Gator 52" All-Terrain Cart. Both items arrived in their original packaging. The cart itself has been very useful. When I needed to use the deck I realized there was no hardware included in the package, only the two boards, which makes the item useless. Amazon says there's no return policy for this item (?), and keeps referring me to the Gator Website that only provides an option to buy "replacement parts". All Gator items I own are great quality, but warranty and customer service apparently aren't as good and reliable. ... show more

Great cart for me despite what other reviews say. Are use it to haul a couple of hundred pounds of musical equipment. The trick is: easy does it. I. Have had zero problems with set up or mechanics. In fact, it works better and pulls more smoothly then my previous cart. I think people are too rough with it and that’s why they lose the pins etc. ... show more
