I live in a gated community with 76 homes. In addition to an automatic main gate, the community has an emergency gate consisting of two 12’ X 3’ metal sections with 12’ X 6’ wood fencing attached to the metal sections. The two gate sections manually join together with a metal locking pin when closed. The gate sections were not level resulting in difficulty bringing the gate sections together to lock them in the closed position. Also, the top gate hinges connected to vertical metal posts would not accept grease through zerk fittings at the top of the hinges. The community purchased and installed DOWOWA 8” gate wheels to raise and level the gate sections. The DOZOWA gate wheels appear to be well designed and built. After raising the gate sections with a hydraulic jack, the DOZOWA gate wheels were easy to install onto the metal gate frame. The gate wheels compressed by 5/8” when the hydraulic jack was removed from each gate section and the gate sections were sufficiently level. We estimate that each wheel removes a significant load from the gate hinges and post taking a load of somewhere between 300 to 400 pounds. Each gate section rolls out smoothly and swivels properly with no noise to fully open positions with the wheel springs adjusting for pavement variations. Each gate section rolls back to the closed position and the locking bar easily allows the gate sections to join together. The top gate hinges now accept grease through the zerk fittings. The DOZOWA 8" gate wheels solved our gate problems and are worth the money spent.

I used this a temporary fix for a wrought iron gate that is sagging on one side due to a concrete masonry wall being shifted by my neighbor's tree; fixing the wall is going to be a huge expense that I'm not ready for yet. The gate was usable if you lifted it very slightly and easily on the latch end (something I figured out in a couple minutes but my gardeners and pool service people couldn't learn this for the life of them even after a year of them throwing it off the hinges on a weekly basis). I got tired of coming home and finding the gate off one hinge or the other and realized I could be held liable if the gate caused someone to get hurt so this was a quick fix I should have done a lot sooner. This wheel is heavy and sturdy and was easy to install - it lifted the gate on the latch side so the bar latch now aligns with it's receiver perfectly and slides right in; the wheel itself rolls smooth and adjust 360 degree when the gate swings either way. It's worth studying the measurements of the U-bolts carefully to find what you need for your attachment purposes. I had to research quite a number of different variations and brands before I found this one that seems to be the best solution for my needs. It's been on for about three weeks now and so far so good! Will be interested to see how this holds up once winter and rainy season passes through.

Easy installation. Glad I got the wheel that has a spring and swivels, as my driveway is uneven gravel. Tire and spring are heavy duty. Fits my 16 ft. farm tube gate perfectly.

Very strong wheel set up. Bought for my heavy pipe gates. Has been a great support system for gates. You will need to purchase 1/2 inch lock washers to keep nuts from loosening and backing off.

Product does as advertised. My wood gates were starting to sag and are on a concrete drive. I shimmed the gates back up to flush plus additional.5 inch - then installed the wheels. Worked great every day since.
