This is my third pair of waterproof socks and I absolutely love them. My niece found them fascinating, astounded that my feet were truly dry. I first discovered waterproof socks after a major outdoor retailer salesperson recommended them to me. I've thought I needed a new pair of waterproof hiking boots for my Iceland trip, but he recommended waterproof socks instead as they are more effective at keeping your feet dry as long as you don't go up above the top. I use these at the lake this weekend, where it was a cool fall day. These are milder conditions then I would be ordinarily wearing them, but I wanted to test them out. They are great for circumstances where the weather is water is cold such as shelling at the beach or if you want to keep your lower legs warm and/or clean from muck in the water, or when crossing rivers. These are somewhat shaped (one of my other pairs is straight like tube socks) and fit well; the tickets is now like hiking socks and everyday socks. They have a soft, comfortable lining. I never really felt like my for must be wet, which is a sensation I've experienced a few times with my other waterproof socks, even though they remain perfectly dry! I think that is due to the lining. The cuff at the top holds the socks in place, they didn't slide down As long as I don't expose them to an excessive number of rough, abrasive surfaces, I expect they'll last a long time. I was skeptical of these socks as they remind me of the neoprene dive booties, which can be fine to wear in water, but create moisture sweat havoc when out of the water. These sock, when first opened look to be sized for a foot 3x wider than narrow foot, increasing my uncertainty. After hiking several miles, I was pleased to learn that these socks literally shape to your foot and create a delightful layer of warmth in 40* weather. I never felt the sweat discomfort nor did the socks shift in my larger hiking boots. I've not tested if they are waterproof but I would be willing to try them snow skiing for the warmth, dryness and most importantly the fit. For me this is new technology that changes the way I will dress for winter months for both work and recreation. These would make an amazing gift. ... show more

I was skeptical at first, but these waterproof socks have impressed me! I tested them while washing my Jeep, and my feet stayed perfectly dry the entire time. The material feels nice, and despite being waterproof, they’re comfortable to wear. They fit true to size, and I like how snug they are without being too tight. These socks are truly waterproof, are comfortable, and are true to the size charts. The color looks nice and they don't have seams that rub and irritate. I'm curious to see how these will hold up over continued use, especially as I got them for rowing in a single scull. Initial impressions are very positive, but I will come back and update if any problems develop. I wear a size thirteen and you can tell right out of the package, these will need to stretch to fit. I did get them on, but they are tighter than I would normally wear. I wore these around the house to get a feel for how well they breath. My feet did get a little sweaty, so that tells me that wearing these in boots on a hot day will mean hot, sweaty feet. I plan on using these in winter, early spring and late fall. They are waterproof and it's an odd sensation. The socks soaked up water which you can see, but your feet stay dry. I normally wear a size 11.5 or size 12 shoe, so my feet are at the top end of the size range for a size Large waterproof sock. Based on the comments of anther reviewer, I opted to go one size up and ordered the size X-Large socks. I’m glad I did. The X-Large socks fit me Goldilocks perfect – not too loose, not too tight, everything is just fine. The exterior fabric of the socks is comfortable to my skin and isn’t super snaggy like some synthetic socks can be. I am very pleased with these so far. I have a size 16 foot and the XL size just barely fits my foot, but it does work thankfully. You never know what to expect from online brands, but I am happy to report that these should fit true to size. They are also totally waterproof as advertised. I have tried dunking them in water several times with no leaks. I plan to use these a lot when winter comes to the CO mountains. The material feels very nice thanks to the dual outer layers. I was worried these would feel more like bare neoprene, but they feel very soft. I will definitely buy more of these in the future if this pair holds up through the winter season. A+ ... show more

I must say, these are impressive socks! I have NEVER said that before. I have tried these out washing my Jeep today. I always have wet feet by the end. Not today!
